Be up front- remind the individual(s) that you are family, and respect each other..but you are definately not into cheating. Maybe you misunderstood the advancements? Let him/her down gently-You don't need to damage family relations, just make yourself perfectly clear! If all else fails- refuse further contact with this person.
Good luck-
That's a tough situation to be in!

Don't go along with it and try to stay away from them. Possibly tell your spouse that they are hitting on you. You should maybe just avoid them and show no signs of interest. Unless you and this in-law have something going on, that's a different story.

Personally I would let them know how much I loved my spouse and was glad that she was a member of their family. If it was too obvious that they were flirting then I'd let them know that I felt that this flirting was inappropriate and ask them to stop it as it made me feel uncomfortable.

well...first off, dont flirt back. try to get the message across that ur not interested. maybe accidently "slip" that theres someone u like or are interested in (even if ur not but still). if it gets out of hand, tell the person who links you(ex: if they are related to u through ur cousin's husband, tell ur cousin)

Let them know in very succinct terms that they have stepped over your boundaries. Be very clear that their behavior is unacceptable. Tell them to stop.
