Ok so i heard this guy say that i was pretty. (yes he used my name) and this other person that i really liked said to his friend that he liked me. Why didn't they ask me out?

Lots of reasons....
1.They might just be shy.
2.Your not open enough for guy to approch you
3.You hang out with a group of girls
4.You hang out with a group of guys
5.You have said no to too many guys before, and word has gotten around. So they fear the rejection.

Most likely cause they are shy and are scared of being rejected. If you are certain of the fact that he likes you, just save him the worry and ask him out. (Usually I believe it should be the other way around...but I think if he is REALLY shy then there is an exception to the rule of: guy should ask the girl out first).

Just because you heard him say those things about you and that he likes you, He still doesn't know how YOU feel.
Or if he DOES know how you feel, maybe he's just not ready for a relationship.

Some guys get intimidated by certain girls, especially if they are attracted to them. Don't wait for them to ask you out. This is 2007 now, not 1900's. It's okay for girls to ask guys out.

They may not know you like them, or they only like you as a friend. But for you, I hope it's the first one!

its possible these guys think you might say no. maybe they think your too good for them and are intimidated by you. but maybe its possible they like you, but not enough to date you. but im sure they're just being shy and you should flirt with them so they know you'll say yes.

maybe you should make yourself more easy to approach. guys are shy to ask out pretty girls, they are intimidated because they don't think they can measure up. maybe you can be the first to go up to them to make it easier
