Why do people get married? I just don't understand I am 35 and I have never been married and I have 1 child but I still dont feel like I want or need to be married. I just don't see a reason for it. Plus all the married people I know are miserable. Give me your Ideas maybe im not looking at this properly.

ok well my friend wants to break up with his gf because he isnt ready for a comitment and has asked me for help on a sweet way to say he just wants to be friends and stay single can anyone help me please i have to see him laters to give him a answer they havent been dating long but she really likes him and she asked him out and he only said yes because he felt sorry for her. he is a really nice guy but now he has realised what he has done and doesnt want to hurt her he just isnt ready for what she wants PLEASE HELP

been whith him a year and at the begining he cheated on me whith aotherchicke when iwas away,and we talk about it and al was over! so now we far from eachother and he keep great contact whith me,he prove to me by showing me how much he really love me, n i seeit. he cares so much,he says also, deep down inmy heart i know he cares a lot cause he shows,one thing is will he cheat on me??? i know they way how we r its different cause i know he really change,he wants to have life whith me, he get sad if he dont hear from me,he worries about me,he teels me truth.and he promise me he will stay good for me untill i see him, i think he will cause ue has ne all over his wall,and we will be far from eachother in 2 month, i know he loves me a lot!

do people often confuse colored diamonds for gemstones? i'm debating a colored diamond in an eternity band, but i don't want to pay for fancy diamonds if people will think it's just a band of gemstones. i wanted something traditional (eternity band) with a twist (colored stones). should i just stick with regular white diamonds?

My husband left his job here,and took a job that is situated in an entirely different continent.This he did without ever consulting me.He said he was doing this for us,since the pay really is great.We dont have kids,and he doesn't seem interested to have any.He pays us(his family here) a visit every three months.He hasn't offered me to join him there and seems very confused about it.He keeps saying that it is a very boring place,and that i'd be miserable there.He is the workacoholic type,and calls me once in three days.And when he is here,he is always busy with his computer games.I feel hurt and apprehensive that he will be ignoring me there too,so i dont insist on going there,even for a visit.I have a job here,and stay with my parents,so he does not pay for my expenses.Now I desperately want a child,but he gives me all sorts of lame excuses not to go for one.What should I do?

A girl I know wants to get breast implants, I think she looks great the way she is! (she hates when I tell her that). We've been freinds for ever and when we go to the mall she almost cry's when she try's on a size 0 and its still to baggy on her chest. She's done all the research and has gone for consultations. She's even convenced a freind of hers that has them to let me see them and touch them.lol (yes they look awesome, and feel real. )So now she's saving the money to have it done. Being a friend I try to support her. Im just scared of all the things that could go wrong. She researched all that to.

My question is , would you pay 6,000 dollars to change your apperence? If so why? And if you did, are you glad you did it? and did your friends support you?

i work at a large shopping centre and today, as i was rushing back from my break, i stopped and my ex's best (guy)friend was there with his girlfriend....because i was behind them, i quickly walked away to the other side of the shops.....i hope they didnt see me, i was trembling....has this happened to anyone? i think it'd be too ackward and upsetting if i talked to them, my boyfriend broke up with me and it was messy and he was mean, i havnt seen his friends since....do you think i did the right thing?

I'm currently living in Asia but I'm planning to go to America for higher education. I most probably have to work to support myself but how am I supposed to make and hang out with friends when I'm working everyday? In addition, I don't know how to cook( I only know how to cook instant noodles and boil water) or sew.

I have never worked before and I'm scared. I have hardly done any house chores because I am more of a hinderence than help.

You don't have to tell me that I'm a loser because Iknow I am. I am terrified of college because I have to be independent and that I may have difficulties in managing my finances. Usually, I spend a lot.

How am I supposed to make friends?

My partner and I are finally getting married next year (2008) after being together for 12 and a half years.....we are paying for it ourselves so we only have around £5000-£6000 to spend.....does anyone know of an ideal venue/hotel in Birmingham or surrounding areas where we can have the wedding ceremony and reception, that isn't going to cost an arm and a leg? 2 weeks ago this lush guy commented my on myspace saying he'd seen me around..we swapped email addresses and talked on msn

we then arrangd to meet at the skatepark the next day

isaw him and i immediatly had a crush on him..he was lovely, and so kind

we wre talking and as the conversation went on we realised by the end of it that we were 2nd cousins..

my mum's cousin is hid dad

we both arent bothered by this in anyway as we're not really 'family' but we're still related

we get some jokes thrown at usfrom ourfriends calling us incest etc

we ignore these and laugh them off buyt it annoys me at the same time

i know 2 people who's 2nd cousins are going out

it's not that bad is it??

i mean..it's not as if we're gonna get married and have kids.

I ended my relationship with a abusive ex partner. He attended a funeral of a mutual friend with me. I tried to keep the situation pleasant by being grown up and saying hello etc. At the buffet afterwards i went upstairs to the bedroom and he followed me up saying he needed the toilet. he then followed me into the room locked the door and took his clothes off. He was erect and asked me to do something. I said no and was very scared as he is a big man and was drunk. I cried and he got angry and started hitting himself around his face saying I was a tease for wearing a skirt?? and He was a ******** for falling for it?? Then he switched approaches to being kind and saying he loved me and tried carressing me, when I told him to get off he started hitting himself again and dressed and left me crying on the floor. other people at the funeral buffet downstairs heard some of the commotion and him leaving. I sthis a sexual crime as he did not make me do it? I am affected by this still
