Perhaps they really trust your judgment and really like you as a friend? People sometimes just need someone to talk to and someone they can confide in.

Everyone agrees but you have to realise that some of us crazy people need constant love. If people spend so much time on the net, their real life becomes second life. You could advise them to join a chat-room or something, then they can socialise. Also you could get them involved in torrenting. It will make download speeds for people who download torrents way faster and it keeps crazy people busy.

Some people have no life. I just don't have time for those type peole. They always seem to bring you down, or cause you to get involved in their troubles. It is one thing to occasionally need a friend, but some people just smother you to death with needs.

can i be your friend... i dont have a social life and i sit in my room watching who wants to be a millionaire ... what a life i live..........haha only joking i know once i signed off msn and the girl texted me saying why did you just block me arghhhhhh crazy cyber geeks i've stopped all that making friends now if you want to be my friend come meet me in my pub and buy me a drink i mite even chat to you :-)

have you thought that these people could be very lonely , or have had problems with there family around them ,or are unable to get out to meet people because of a disability , it cost nothing to say hello to some one and brighten up there day

it happens in real also..
i don't count them as friends, they only have me on their msn and when they have a pc problem they ask me..
if i ask someone for help, and they aren't so nice i pay them little heed.. simple really.
