I don't understand why you would be worried? what exactly is their reasoning behind that?
It sounds to me like he actually enjoys your company, therefore doing those things is actually fun. Going to a place likes Knowsley safari park with his ex might have been more of a chore then fun, since all she liked was bingo, now maybe with you its actually a enjoyable experience.
I wouldn't worry at all, I would enjoy it, I'm sure for him it feels good to be with someone outgoing and it sounds like to me he is outgoing but was trapped in a not-out-going relationship. the sense of freedom is probably wonderful.

Shouldn't be worried at all. Just be ready for the times that he doesn't feel like doing anything. Those times will come but try to understand. My g/f is 12 years younger than me and it's very similar. She understands though when I just feel like bumming around the house.
Best of luck and the important thing is BE HAPPY. Regardless of what your mates say.

I think it may be more of a case thatyour friends are jealous hun!!! This turnaround sounds great and you should be enjoying all the new days out etc instead of worrying about them
Hes probably just realised that there IS more to life than bingo and that theres so much to be done in life!!
Appreciate it and go with the flow hun!
xx

If I was a girl I would never trust my girl friends sincerity. Women can always be jealous and have hidden motives. Personally I would say if you are enjoying his new found life run with it and enjoy it. With men they are quite simple creatures there is probably nothing sinister like your g/f's suggest. More women should be like you and let your men get excited soooo many women try to put men in a shell to mother & sister them to have control.

Haven't you posted elsewhere that you and chummy are playing the horizontal two-backed monkety dance twice in the morning and three times at night - every morning and every night? Now you're fannying about at safari parks and the like? When do you get the bloody time?

Tell your mates to worry about their own issues. Sounds harmless.
