How would you actually go about saying it?

Ok dsclark2006, we are both in our 20's, in college and we are friends. I take her out sometimes, but it's never like a 'date', just to lunch etc. I know she likes me, but am still not sure if it's only as a friend. And I'm sorta a shy guy.

You dont, you start with just growing some balls, and asking if she wants to go see a movie. thats for starters, each age group has its own starter dates, if your 15-19 its the movies, 21 and up it is usally a drink. but it is often not the best. the movies and dinner is always the best starter, but make it something for both of you dont be to obvious, a little romance, and some blood and guts. my g-friends loves the blood and guts so it works out.

Just look for someway to start a conversation, and just talk about the day or whatever, and the when it starts to slow down ask her if she would like to hang out later, and no matter what the answer find and exit solution and use it. and try and have some of the "later" on details worked out before hand, not all the details, like every movie time that would be just geek-ish.

you sould have given us more info about your self, and even her that would have helped. so edit your question with more info.

I would take her out for a drink or a coffee, and just talk with her. Telling her how much I like the friendship that we have. That this has developed over time to the point that you are so comfortable with her that you feel you can talk with her about anything. doing so in the strongest confidence that what you say to her with her will stay with her. But go into the fact that in the same area as much as you truly love her that you do love her as a friend and a friend only. Good luck.

Well I am a girl And this situation happened to me.
The boy who was my best friend asked me out on a date to the movies. He told me it was a friendship date.
[[You should do it like he did to me, it was a scary movie too]]
So yeah whatever, Um when you guys are at the movie you tell her that you are starting to feel a big connection towards her, and no a friendship connection more like a relationship Connection Then you pop the question!!

hi!i`m a girl.but i think that i can help you...boys that i thought that are my friends came at me and said me something like this:"For me you are more than a friend.I like you".And they waited my reaction.Is possible to that girl see ONLY like a friend,so be prepared for a possible rejection.And if you are a shy guy,you should make her realize that.Make jokes,make her compliments.Say that her dress is beautifull,or her hair stay cool.Or somethingk like that.Girls love compliments.So,then wait.She will react.And if she is quiet and dhy,you should ask something like:"Do you have a boyfriend?".And if you know that she has not,you shoud ask her.And if she has a boyfriend,ask her if she loves him.Then you should ask her(be sure tht you and her are alone).I hope that i helped!Good luck!!!

Write her a little note

Say::

Do you like me?

Check Yes Or No

It's a cute way to bust the ice

It's a 50/50 chance you can score with her LOL...

Just tell her, but wait for the right timing....& you need to choose your words wisely otherwise you might end up losing a friend as well.
