My husband and I were going to church, looking at adopting my nephew, and then BOOM! The floor fell out from underneath me. He totally became a different person. He decided one day he didn't want to be with me any longer. I came home from work and he just came out and said he thought we'd be better off apart. Okay, so I left. You'd think that would be it, eh? He didn't just want to separate and take time off as he said at first, he decided to go a step further and try to ruin me as a person. He has been going around telling all kinds of lies about me. Saying I wouldn't let him talk to his family and that I was manipulative. ??? He was the KING of manipulation. As far as his family was concerned, he didn't have a relationship with them when I met him. Says him anyhow. I tried to push him to talk to his mother. So now I'm not only dealing with a separation, but a husband who is walking around trying to make himself look good by lying on me. What is going on here?

I stated that I didn't feel special or important to my husband anymore & that it was causing problems in the bedroom & that I wanted to spend more time together outside the bedroom & fix our other problems. And I got a few answers saying that the problem was in my head, it wasn't my husbands fault & that I was being controlling. Is this true?

How do you establish a guest list!? Do you invite people that you haven't talked to in a year or so, or do you just invite people that you still talk to. I can't imagine inviting all the people from my past, but I feel like I have to, because if they found out I got married and didn't invite them, they would get mad...help?!?!

I met this guy a year ago when he was bartending at the local bar,we seemed to have a connection,by the end of the night he asked for my number,i gave it to him and left to go to a friends house,he is also freinds with that person and found out I was there and came over,i ended up crashing on the couch and him on the floor,he drove me to my car the next morning. The past year I have gone in the bar about once a month and he sometimes gives me a hug, always says hello right away, usually is real flirty, and sometimes gives me free shots.he invited me over his place one night right before closing and i had to deny because i did not want to come across as an easy afterhours hookup.we are now myspace friends and i sent him a message asking him to get together sometime,he replied with okay and gave me his number to call,so i called and left a message,no return call but a myspace message two days later apologizing for missingthe call and that we will make plans later in the week.I did not reply.

I would just like to take a second to wish C & K a happy half hour anniversary. I would like to say thank you to my parents, Mr. & Mrs. M, for all that you've done to make this the special day that it is. And, of course, my gratitude to Mr. & Mrs. L and family for all your support and travel time to make this the perfect day for C and K. At last, I would like to welcome C and his family into our family. The more the merrier!!

I have only been married for 6 years so there are probably many other couples here today that could give you better advice but here is mine. Actually, it's advice Mom gave me the night before my wedding day. So in reality, combined it is 46 years of experience. She told me: love is a decision.

On the surface it sounds a fairly clinical and an unromantic assessment, but if you think about it a little deeper you will realize that there is truth in these words.

It’s easy to fall in love. When a couple first meet, life

To help a friend out, my husband borrowed, from my brother, a truck to haul something for a friend. In the process of doing this, the truck broke down, maybe blew the motor. The truck did have some age on it and is known to have problems. As far as I know, his friend has not offered to pay for it. The question my husband and I are disagreeing on is, who should pay for fixing the truck? I say it should be his friend, but my husband said he borrowed it so it's his responsibility. I understand that part, but if he wasn't trying to help this friend in the first place, he would have never borrowed the truck. It had to be towed and my husband payed for that, also. I'm just curious. My husband will end up paying for it, that's the way he is, but I'm just curious to what everyone else thinks. One other thing, I apologize for this not being a sexual question!!

Wedding invitation etiquette states that when inviting an couple who you know are either engaged or in a long-term relationship and who do not live together you either put both names on the invitation and send it to the person you know most OR you send 2 separate invitations to both people.
iVillage's "Sharon Naylor is the author of The Essential Guide to Wedding Etiquette" has this to say about - "TOP ETIQUETTE MISTAKES IN INVITATIONS: "Putting 'And Guest' when the recipient is in a long-term relationship or is engaged. Again, this is a research thing. Find out the names of your guests' guests - you can call them directly if you have never known their significant other's name, or ask a friend or relative for the info. It's a gracious move that is the essence of good invitation etiquette."
http://weddings.ivillage.com/etiquette/etiquette/0,,naylor_bxsvgkr9-3,00.html
Also FrugalBride.com says "and guest" is only to refer to single people to bring a guest.
Follow these rules! Agree?!

I have heard before play hard to get but do you believe this is true? My husband and I have a very stale, boring relationship. We have been married 5 years and we have really lost interest in each other. Any tips of "playing hard to get" to get a spark back in our relationship?

My in laws are here from India. They've been here for three months (two weeks before my son's birth) and will stay for another three months. This is typical of Indians - the six month stay.

However, I'm having problems adjusting because I'm not Indian. I'm American and love my independance! According to Indian tradition the parents take care of the grandchildren after birth. At least that's how my husband's family does things. I don't like that idea. I like doing things myself. However, I've been really sick the past month so having a helping hand has been really nice. (I have a 17 month old and 7 week old).

However, my inlaws have been slowly loosing patience with the seventeen month old. Three times I've caught her with her hand in the air like she was going to beat him. She's yelling in Tamil - her native language.

And, my newborn has gotten used to being held and rocked all the time. So - I get no sleep. Is it mean for me to ask them to leave? What would u do?

It is always me sending the
e-mails and making the phone calls to my girlfriend. I always have to initiate everything. How do I know if she doesn't like me and just feels bad? it's kinda weird that she isn't putting effort into her half of the responsibilities that there is when being in a relationship.
