Should i give this guy a shot again or forget him?

I met this guy a year ago when he was bartending at the local bar,we seemed to have a connection,by the end of the night he asked for my number,i gave it to him and left to go to a friends house,he is also freinds with that person and found out I was there and came over,i ended up crashing on the couch and him on the floor,he drove me to my car the next morning.The past year I have gone in the bar about once a month and he sometimes gives me a hug,always says hello right away,usually is real flirty,and sometimes gives me free shots.he invited me over his place one night right before closing and i had to deny because i did not want to come across as an easy afterhours hookup.we are now myspace friends and i sent him a message asking him to get together sometime,he replied with okay and gave me his number to call,so i called and left a message,no return call but a myspace message two days later apologizing for missingthe call and that we will make plans later in the week.I did not reply.

well it sounds like a good relationship. i think that maybe it was just that he had something to do and couldnt respond to ur message, guys are reckless and one track minded. trust me id know im one of them. i think you need to give him a shot at all of this. try to get him away from the bar for a change and get to know him in a way you would like. but what do ya got to lose anywayse?
