I have been in talks with a lady in my neighborhood discussing babysitting. She has her neice and nephew staying with her for a year, as the mother is not in a stable place right now. The neighbor is a single woman and was saying she is looking for affordable babysitting. I offered to look after the kids when she needed me and she said that was great and that we could discuss the pay. Today she came by by surprise and asked if I could watch the kids for 2 hours. I did. Then she said she had a meeting and could I watch them tonight for an hour. Well one hour turned into 2 and I was expecting some $ when she came for them...but she just thanked me and left. I could have asked for the money I suppose but then we never set a price. I am just a bit bewildered that she didn't even OFFER me anything. I'm 33 and have 2 kids of my own. I fed her kids and kept them happy for 4 hours today. What do I say when she asks me to sit again?.

I just celebrated my 1 year wedding anniversary to my husband. And I couldnt be happier than being married to him.

But I miss all the wedding planning horribly! LOL I feel so bored and with nothing left to really get into. I am planning my husbands 30th birthday party, but it just isnt the same. No more dresses to try on, flowers to pick, programs to design, etc. I cant wait for our 8 year wedding anniversary, just so I can start planning our 10 year renewal service. LOL

Do any of you miss all the planning from your wedding? Or am I just crazy? LOL

im going to purpose to my girl and i dont know her ring size. should i have her go with me to go get it>? ((that might ruin the ideal)) or if i just bought her one could i get it sized bigger..or smaller. whichever would fit her,`?

my boyfriend told me that when his mom and dad were married they both cheated on eachother and so they got divorced. he also told me that his aunt's husband cheated on her with her sister. the woman that his dad is married to now has cheated on her before too. my question is will my boyfriend cheat on me? is this something you can inherit from your parents? i hope not...

I have an 8 yr old daughter...bout to be 9. She is already developing and is getting interested in boys. I don't know how to handle it. She talks to her NaNa more about these kinda things than she does me. We have had brief conversations about boys. I just still wish she would be more open with me and talk to me about her feelings. I know it's hard to talk to mom about boys and how you feel. I went thru it I just don't want her to go thru the same thing and feel she can never talk to me like I felt I couldn't talk to my mother.

My ex and I have been seperated since feb, since then, theres just been three phone calls, and just a recent invitation to her bros babyshower I attended for a short time. "She needed time to figure things out" was the reason we disengaged from a 2 1/2 year relationship. I respected it, but it was hard decision on me, at first i died trying to bring her mind back, but she was set on it. in the past few months I noticed that she wasnt thinking straight and calling me when shes drunk on two occasions, never talking about the past relationship, but just, hello's and how you doin's.the last call,I finally talked about what was left unsaid in the begining, and both agreed that we still love each other,When i saw her at the shower, I kept it casual, and mature. I dont get it! This girl broke my heart, but i love her, for I am so much better now, found my identitiy again.but, I'm wondering standing next to my phone if I could call her? or is that mistake? (i have feeling she misses me)

I am recieving $8,000 for my biological brother passing away. We were seperated our whole lives because I was adopted into another family. When I receive the money, I'm pretty sure my family that I've been adopted to my whole life will want me to split it. But they are in Chicago and I am in California trying to get my life and career started. I work and go to school. I'm a little bit in trouble finacially, and this money will help me out a lot, and I'll be able to save about $4,000 dollars as a back up because I plan on moving overseas when I finsh college. I really don't want to split anything because I feel that I really need the money. Is this selfish?

Son is 18 yrs old. His schedule:
7 am- wake up to take gf(16) to school
8am-1pm-sleeps
1pm-3pm - computer
3pm leave to pick up gf from school
3-400pm stays at gf house, drops gf off at work, goes to work
11 pm, gets off work, picks up gf, stays at gf house until 2am
(that thru the week), this is the weekend
7 am up, showers, goes to work
4:30pm, off from work, home to shower
4:30pm-2am, at his gf house
2am, come home. This is how it is every week.

His dad and I talked to him a couple of months ago, told him if this is the way he is going to spend his time, he needed tp move out. He promised us, he would straighten up. He did for about a week, then it went back to the same thing. About 3 weeks ago, he did not come home at all. I called to tell him, he needed to come get his stuff, he gave us another sob story and said he didn't want to move out and that he would change this time. He did for about a week, now it's the same thing. Do you think I'm being too hard on him?

When hubby and I were on our first criuse, one of the engines broke, and there was a hurricane following us. It was a day and a half behind us. After we left Puerto Vallarta, that city was hit badly! And b/c of the storm and waves, are ship couldn't stop at Cabo San Lucas. That was the biggest bummer of our trip. We wanted to go there! But thank goodness we were ahead of the storm even on a broken engine. We did get to spend an extra day on the ship though!

First off, I'm 16. Okay, so there's this girl...we have some mutual friends, but I really have no clue who she is. I don't think I've even seen her before. She says I did...[wishful thinking?]. I can tell she likes me because of some messages and whatnot I got from her on the computer. She's 16 and has a 1 year old son. That's about all I know about her.

She keeps wanting to talk to me on the computer and stuff, but I've been trying to avoid her. I have no interest in her. I start my 1st year of college this year [and yes, I'm only 16], and not only do I not need a relationship, I'm just not attracted to her.

Any ideas? Things to say? Things to do?

I mean she really is beautiful and I can't stop thinking about her. I know that there are many other hot girls in life but my cousin is different.. I have a special feeling towards her.. My brother has been dating the same girl for about two years. She is about to finish medical school and is Filipino (sp?). My brother is just a tech guy for a company making an ok salary but not close to what she is making. He is not at the level of a doctor's intelligence.

I am worried that my brother is going to make a mistake marrying her (which there is talks of engagement throughout the family) and he'll end up in a divorce or something. He is not a doctor and his money will be peanuts after a couple years. Her family is also weird and may not be totally in love with him either. He is older than me and almost 30 so any input I have is considered worthless as I am only in my early 20s.

You have a long distance relationship with someone who does all it takes to be with you knowing that you thousands of miles away from them
everything is perfect

all of a sudden they break up (they disappear, stop taking you calls..)

you figure they wanna break up

then they come back to explain why they broke up ad make up a lie of how they got into a huge problem that made them lose their job etc.. and a car accident and that this is enough stress ..

a few month later you figure out they have someone else


do you think the break up was because of the long distance, or something in me, or the fact they met someone better ?

by the way.. after he " explained" why he broke up he stopped talking to me again... then, months later I called to see how he was doing he started yelling and said I WAS GOING TO cheat on him , what made say that ??

My man and I have been together a while now. He finds himself recently unemployed and is having a problem finding a job. He is really down on himself and depressed because of it. Rather than turning to me, who should be a source of support for this type of thing, he has pushed me away saying that he is going to become intolerable soon. and he would rather end us on a high note. He is not cheating, and he says he still loves me. How do you just walk away from someone because you're going through something weird and temporary? I'm so confused. There is no pushing him or changing his mind. He is very strong minded and stubborn. What is the best way to handle this. I'm so broken hearted over this. Do I just let him go and see what happens?

I am 15 and am living with a friend from school cause my mom abandoned me. Im planning to get a job, so could i get emancipated when i turn 16? how would i go about that??
can i file abandonment charges on her now?? how would i do that?
