I really want to add a small sheer cap sleeve to my strapless gown. My question is, do I attempt to buy the sleeve myself and just have the seamstress sew it on, or ask her to make one for me? Is that beyond her scope? Do you think she would charge me an arm and a leg? (She is a regular seamstress, not in a bridal salon).

Also, I have a $6,000 couture gown....do you think I would be butchering the look?

Been with hubby 13 yrs.Have 3 children by him, 8 yr old boy, 3 yr old boy and 20 month old girl.He doesn't work because he was injured in the Army on duty.He is 38 and so am I.He is home 24/7. He has no social life and spends no time with our children. I tell him life is short but when he is not sleeping, he is on the comp or sucked into the TV.He doesn't hear anything they ask. I feel like I am living alone.I think he has played like 3 games with them in 8 yrs and maybe threw a ball a couple times.He has never taken any of them fishing, camping or any kinds of activitiies other then as a family when I have pushed it.He yells everyday about something,mostly at our 8 yr old always doing something wrong but I don't agree.I don't feel like this is normal but I have been with him for 13 yrs I don't know what normal is anymore. He loves us and has promised when I get upset to change but only does till things settleThis is not normal, right?Feel bad to split up but I think this is unhealthy.

ok my boyfriend and i have been togetherwe have become each others halves, best friends,and shoulder to cry on. He lives in another state but we hardly feel that since we visit eachother at least once or twice a month, and we're on the phone or texting eachother at LEAST every hour. I know it doesnt seem that long but our love together is so strong i knew we'd always be there for each other. well last wednesday we had a disagreement about a hypothetical situation, and it turned into us second guessing eachother because of our suprising reactions ((sorry i cant say what it was about- too personal.)), he said he needed a few days to think things through. i agreed, and the next 2 days he didnt call or text me which hurt alot, and then saturday morning came and i emailed him saying how sorry i was for being inconsiderate and told him how much i loved him and 2 min later my mom comes in screaming and crying she was yelling his mom died. i called him immediately but he wouldnt talk to me

I use to sing for my ex all the time while we were dating and he loved it. I've known my current boyfriend and soulmate now for 5 years, about 1/2 a year longer than my ex. We've been dating for almost 8 months now. He's always been my best friend and has wrote several songs for me over the years and sung and played them on his guitar for me. I sang for him once and had gotten cut off half way through the first verse. I didn't think he liked it too well because he never gave me much feedback. That was until I started crying because I felt so embarassed and stupid for singing. Now that time keeps passing by he wants me to sing for him more and more each day. He says he even dreams about it and thinks about it before going to bed at night. But since my confidence is down and I really feel like I'm not a good singer I just can't bring myself to do it. So what the hell should I do?! Please HELP!!!

Saw this girl walking pass me as we were crossing the stoplight...
and boy.. I just blew my chances with her if ever... asking her out on a date.

As she was on the other side of the stree and as I was on the opposite end. We waited for the 'walk' signal to blink. We did catch each other's eyes while away from each other... but upon walking towards each other.. she looked at me once... then looked down... but as we got closer... she looked again... and I smiled... and kept my gaze at her... she looked at me for a while... kept her gaze.. and then smiled back but the smile was more... on the mouth.. instead of the eyes.

AFter she smiled she moved her eyes sideways (no blinking) and continue to look forward as she walked across the street.

Is she interested or not?

Ok so me and my boyfriend hung out Friday and went to c a movie and we had a really good time. Then on Saturday I was sick so he came over to my house anyway and we hung out for a while. I work with an IT firm as a consultant. I joined in 4 months ago. Now this fellow employee Mr X in the same project is trying to create a lot of problems. He is a fulltime employee who has been in the company from last 5 years, so he tries to dominate over everybody. Our project lead is himself a consultant who is scared to take any action against Mr X. Recently he tried to shove some junk work to me, thinking i will just do all the work he assigns me (mind you he is not my boss). But i refused to do that work since i has lots of other work already lined up. He tries to be a bottleneck to the entire project asking me to take his permission before doing an task, even though he is not my boss. Sometimes when i dont take his permission he fires and shouts at me over this.
Now this guy knows am a consultant and can be fired anyday without any notice. So he tries to take advantage of the above fact and tries to snub me. Can I talk to my cleint company HR manager about this? What to do??

I had some small amount of clothes in the washer,I planned to put more clothes in but got so dang stressed out when I recieved a call from my docters office.I decided to get on yahoo answers and destress, but my husband is out of bed from working all night and is make me so p*****!!So he brings out a basket of his work shirts for me to wash , acting like he was going to it.I quickly just turned on the wash to get the small load out of the way,at that time yes I did not care for the bill electric bill, and I washed his clothes .Well he went over and removed the small load from the wash and complained to me about a high bill.I am totally stressed and 6 months pregnant is not easy with him. My blood pressure is creeping up, and my sugar test came back today a bit high.I told my husband and he tells me to blame myself.I have been eating better than ever not unhealthy like, cant calm.No baby sitter and husband wont stay for a little bit at cousins.Ive nowere to go to detress,not even bath!!

I finally told my Ex That I am carrying his child. He was suppose to get married in november I believe but he have been spending alot of time at my house since I told him my secret and he is not mad at all, he is acting like we never broke up, he is doing everything for me and being really sweet. his girl called my house the other day cursing the sh!t out of me because she think im taking him away from her, but she was the one that broke up with him after he told her about me and the baby. I didn't want any of this top happen this is why I wanted to wait and tell him after the wedding. Okay so how do I put this out to you world?... I was out on a date that I kindda pushed myself to go to (been posponing it for ever and ever), but sweet guy, great person, yadi-da... I get there and I have absolutely NOTHING to say to this person. I feel awkward, tense and like an idiot.

That's until the waiter comes to the table and as I life my eyes to place my drink order, my eyes meet his and I feel this instant jolt of OMG, where have you been all my life?!

Needless to say I haven't said or done anything as it would have been disrespectful or inappropiate. Ended the night with my date on 'just friends' terms. Meanwhile I cannot take my mind off the poor waiter. I'd love to contact him - I just don't know what and hiow to do it?
