I was thinking of joining, not sure about it though. Do some people really meet on these sites and live happily ever after, sorta speak..or is it a haven for freaks, creeps and predators??

I want to keep it simple, but do not like calla lilies. I do like wildflowers, but no sunflowers. My colors are dark blue (midnight/sapphire) and white. I'm thinking about adding a little accent of yellow, but can't decide. My wedding is in May and because of that, I am feeling very overwhelmed on all the available flowers. I was maybe thinking of white carnations, daises, babies breath and blue roses, but don't know if that is too fancy for what I want. Any suggestions would greately be appriciated.

my parents are giving my fiance and i a set dollar amount towards our wedding expenses which we are grateful for. his parents arent as "financially set" as mine, and havent offered to help---no big deal. the problem is this: we planned on paying for our own wedding--$20,000--and are over budget by $7000 already without a honeymoon and centerpieces. every time we try to cut back the guest list, our families say we "CANT exclude that person". im so frustrated!!! we have personally invited only 64 people ourselves and our guest list is already over 350!! how can i stop this madness???

Just wondering if anyone knows why men don't like to talk about the reasons for a breakup, even if they did the dumping? Maybe they don't want to hurt feelings (but it's worse to just not really know what happened). Seems to me like I would always express what was going on with me if my feelings changed, but they seem to just go awol.

i only have a few guy friends. one is a few years younger and lives in another city than i do. one, i met in sixth grade and i talk to him on IM. he says hes my friend, and i believe him but i dont think we do a lot of things to be considered a friend. but i want to. is there a way to make this relationship stronger and to make more friends as guys. he's going to be homeschooled this year. and i've never called him.

My husband and I got into a big fight about his sick sexual fantasies that is way against being married. I through him in jail for hitting me and dragging me on the floor. And he is acting like I made everything up even though the cops have evidence and pictures. He is staying somewhere else. He says he is so mad at me and he is talking to me like, i made it up, when I didn't and he keeps denying it. I told him I was moving and he pleaded not to because we have 2 girls. Thats what is hard. He saying we should get back together one day. I can't see out of the box. What would you do? Love makes you stupid. He called and threatened me to drop the charges. Should I get a restraining order. I do not want to because of the kids. He says he loves me.

I asked a question about abortion in which I raised the issue of one-night-stands. Then most of the answerers gave very ignorant responses saying like "do you have any morals at all? How can you talk about one-night-stands" and like "wait - this question is so disturbing on all proportions! How can you mention one-night-stands, they are wrong and immoral and deadly"

What are these people trying to tell me? Don't they realize that lots of people do have one-night-stands & casual sex without any issues or problems - so atleast can't the answerers give a decent response saying like "I personally thing one-night-stands are wrong" or like "people do it, but I think it is very immoral"?

Before trying to educate me saying that one-night-stands are immoral and deadly, why don't they do some research themselves before passing comments out of their ***es?

alrite so this summer i met this really great guy we talked ALL summer and he said hes never met anyone like me never felt like this before etc.

we were both on vacation on the time but we said we would hang when we both came bak. when i came bak we hung out and we kissed in the sprinklers at 2am and i thot it was sooo great and i thought he was gonna ask me out

Okay, my sister is very pretty and could probably go out with any one she likes based on her looks and personality. Well, she tells me a guy I'll call Sam asked her out and she turned him down. She then told me she hoped he would get over her. Now she tells me she learned that he did get over her. But!! She says she is mad about that and wants Sam to like her again. I really, really want sleeves for my wedding dress. The problem is they're just not popular right now, so it's very hard to find dresses with sleeves. I bought a strapless ivory gown, but I still really want sleeves.

I'm getting my dress altered tomorrow, so I need to know what I'm wearing with it before I go... and I sort of had an epiphany. My aunt's old wedding dress has sleeves that I like (though the dress is a different style than what I want to wear), so I thought, what if I wore her dress under mine.

I'm wavering back and forth on how it looks. The dress is ivory, but the sleeves are white... does it work? I would love it if it works, my life would be so much simpler. However, if it doesn't work, I don't want to walk down the aisle looking foolish. Please give me your honest (but tactful) opinions.

Ok, I want to get a consensus on what is judging. If someone tells me, "Oh, I rob liquer stores every night, that's why I don't work." Am I supposed to sit back and think, "Oh, he is an ok person! Never mind that he steals and cheats!" Stealing is against the law. Since we all know that, I would be judging someone who steals as NOT GOOD?

I have this HUGE crush on this guy from my church, and since I only see him once or twice a week, I miss seeing him, hearing his voice, and just taking it all in. Any ideas on how I can hear his voice or see him more or something to help what I call my 'deprivation'? I cant call him 'cause caller I. D. would ruin it all. And I cant find a picture.
