Okay, my sister is very pretty and could probably go out with any one she likes based on her looks and personality. Well, she tells me a guy I'll call Sam asked her out and she turned him down. She then told me she hoped he would get over her. Now she tells me she learned that he did get over her. But!! She says she is mad about that and wants Sam to like her again. But she doesn't even like him!! I don't get it. Why does she want him to like her if she doesn't like him?

Because it made her feel good about herself that someone liked her, eve if she dint like him. Now that he has found someone else shes probaly just jealous. Its like amrking your teritory. maybe she likes the attention.

She wants him to like her so that she can be in a position of power to be constantly rejecting him. But good old Sam though, he pulled the plug and ruined her little game. Now the tables are turned and she doesn't have him as a puppet under her control any longer. There's a word for women who do stuff like that. Try hard as can be, never fully satisfied by scratching.

BECAUSE LIKE ALL PEOPLE, (girls & guys), they don't appreciate what they have until it's actually gone. and like your sister, she's just mad because that "SAM" got over her so quickly.

all girls want to be wanted. It makes them feel better about themselves. Your sister just wants attention and to feel like there are people who want her but can't have her.
