a crush sounds like a physical thing to me - even though you may not want to have sex in your mind, obviously this other person was not comfortable with your crush

This is what is called a girl crush, and yes its normal, and your girlfriend who stopped being friends is just being an idiot, I think its very sweet, have had a few girls crush on me and it was wonderful to have this attention. It never has to be more than that, you just go back up to her and say "I liked you, admired you and not in a gay way, but you obviously didnt deserve my admiration because you threw away a perfectly cool friendship.", and walk away and let her go, you have a wonderful personality to unconditionally love and admire people, and if they cannot appreciate it for what it is that is THIER problem. Take Care sweety.-Rachel.

some will argue that this is not natural but i believe it is very normal. just b/c you are of the same sex doesn't mean you can't have a bit of a crush. it isn't necessarily a sexual one but one of admiration and fondness. i'm guessing you're both pretty young so i can understand her being upset by this. i'm sure she thought of it as sexual and even if she didn't, it's not something that someone can understand if they aren't the one with the feeling. it might be a good idea to keep things like this to yourself for a while. at least until you figure out what you're feeling.

this is natural if ur bi or lesbian. just b/c u don't wanna have sex with someone doesn't mean u don't like like them. i mean it's okay for a girl to think another girl is pretty, but to a certain point, ur label will change. if u really wanna know if you like like her think about a guy u once liked? how did u know u liked him? then c if ur feelings of liking a guy r the same as the girls, if yes, u might be, bi, or lesbian. ask urself r u still physically attracted to guys. this may b a passing thing were u'll step out your door and c the hottest guy ever, and b done, but, u can't hide or avoid ur feelings. go by wat u feel. it's okay, your not the only one out there who like that.

I dont think it means your bi or lesbian, you say you didnt want to have sex with her, thats usually what lesbians and bisexuals think!!!! I think it means you were probably just attracted to some aspect of her, maybe something that you like in a guy and it just went from there. It does happen from time to time and theres nothing you can do but carry on with life!

It's a natural reaction...and whether or not most women will admit it, almost every woman has these feelings at one time or another.
It doesn't make you gay...or bi...it's just that you are attracted to this woman.
I wouldn't worry about it, unless it becomes an obsession with you. It's not at all uncommon.
Good luck...& don't worry!

It's a very understandable
and natural thing. I have
had many crushes on girls,
though, I have the most amazing
boyfriend in the world.
It's fine. If she doesn't understand, then
she doesn't understand. Give her time.
maybe she'll change her mind.

Show her you can give all the guys great, big, bear hugs. Then you can have 6-10 guys hanging around you.
Hug the smart guys, all types, and you can make sure you get the right answers B4 the tests.

sarah, this is normal so don't worry about it.
ignore the stupid comments about being bi or lesbian or gay or anything.
everyone sooner or later has a very close friend of the same sex and it means nothing more than they are a very close friend.
ok? have a nice night kiddo!
