Why don't you try to enrolling yourself in some dancing class, or excercise class. Any type of class that meets often during the week. That way you can meet new people and have fun at the same time.

You can go to the park and take a nice walk or read under a tree. It's always relaxing. If you have a dog, that's even better.
Do you have any cousins? Or niece and nephews? The little kids? You can take them with you. It's always fun to hang out with them. They're so cute.
You can listen to lots of music.
Go shopping by yourself.
Go out and get yourself good food or drinks.
Go on yahoo answer here and answer lots of questions (benefits in points as well)
Or find fun websites to visit
Read magazines ( go to barnes and noble and read )
Find a goooooood Book! =)
WORK OUT AT HOME. Don't worry...you'll get over him eventually if you keep yourself busy or just not think about him
=)

It's very important that you try to keep yourself busy after the breakup, so you won't have a lot of time to think about it.
My advice: nurture yourself now more than ever, go to a gym, take yoga, karate classes, an art class if you like it, learn to swim, take a dancing class: you'll have a lot of fun, join a group to do things together, go to visit other cities, for example.
You should feel very proud about yourself, you're courageous, you'll be Ok. Wish someday you'll find that special person in your life.
Good luck !!

Try and meet some new people.
after my big breakup I spoke to EVERYONE and went to all the parties and got EVERYONES myspace pages. Ive got loads of friends now and This is the first time ive thought about my ex in about 2 weeks.
Hobbies help. Like taking up new dancing or cooking classes.
Jobs can help.
and pouring yourself into your schoolwork.
theres loads of things you can do.
keep yourself busy though and show him youre having more fun.

I get on yahoo answers and answer as many questions as I can stand... I watch the news, CNN, Larry king, Nancy grace etc.... I call other friends who are available... I have signed up to do political campaigning for a friend... I attend church... I am in graduate school...I try to do as much as possible just to forget... and it works most of the time.

Enjoy your new found free time. I know I did, and still do. I started back exercising, yard work, swimming, discovering what I could do with my ipod, and even answered a lot of questions on here. Do whatever makes you happy and try not to get too comfortable.

i write in my journal. after a breakup all you can think about is your ex, and the things he did or didnt do. the best way to get things off you chest is to write about it. other things that pss the time : i go to the movies with my girls (theres a no boyfreind allowed policy when someone gets broken up) and we do girl stuff. Shopping also makes you feel better. get something you KNOW you look good in. youll be alright &heart;
