I say get a few candles and make some pasta and cake for them at home. It will probably be the best anniversary they will ever have, just because their daughter made it special. Just for them.

Try creating a "Bella Notte" night for your parents, like in Lady and the Tramp. It's such a sweet thing to do, and creative. Ladle out the spaghetti, light a few candles, and play the music. They can talk and have a good meal.

What are they into? Movies? Sporting events? Theatre? Or maybe just a nice dinner. Maybe you could just buy some tickets to something, or pay for a night out at a nice restaurant.

Get a Scrabble set, and lay out the tiles to spell words about their marriage, like interlocking their names and words like 'happy' or 'forever.' It should look like a real scrabble game. Once you're happy with the way it looks, glue it down and then put some picture wire on the back so they can hang it. Giftwrap it and you're all done!
