that didn't happen to me but I did let a stranger use my expensive phone,against my better judgement. After I gave her the phone she coughed all over it and her mouth looked like it was recovering from something, it was discolored (im thinking cold sores). Since then that phone has been retired. However I now have an emergency where my backphone has a problem and I seem to have no other choice but to use it. Should I? Im a germaphobic

Since i was 5 years old i have dedicated all my time to basketball. I have had personal coaches paid by my parents & have won at the national level at many ages. My high school team won state championship last year. I am ranked at the top 50 at the highschool level even though i am a freshman, & am considered a child prodigy since the age of 12. The problem is that people feel intimidated by my presence & i dont know what to do. My only friends are some of my teammates Whenever i walk into a room, like the cafeteria, people stare at me. I started taking mixed martial arts 1 year ago because Older guys than me always want to start fights & try to beat me up. As a result I have been suspended from my schools 3 times. The principle told me if it happens again, i will be expelled from the school. I dont know why they pick on me so much. It's not like i am cocky,could anyone give me some good advice?

My husband and I have been seperated for a couple weeks now, but we are still living together. Him at one end of the house and me at the other. I have tried everything in my power to make him happy....leaving me feeling unhappy and very alone. I love him dearly not for the man he is but for the man he truely could be. I have given him so much space and love that I don't think I can do it anymore. I have asked him so many times to just leave and he will not leave, nor will he stay and try to work on our marriage. I go to sleep at night and he finds his way into our bedroom and sleeps next to me, and when I wake up in the middle of the night I look at him and hate runs through my heart and I go sleep on the couch.
I love this man very much.............but when is love just not enough anymore? What more could I possibly do, without losing who I really am? I don't want to continue putting 100% into this anymore and then find myself searching for me again.

How does your spouse feel about it? How do your parents feel about it? Did it take awhile to get used to? Does it ever get confusing if all of them are together?


I have no idea how common this might be, but my parents and my fiance's parents have always addressed both sets of our grandparents as "Mom" and "Dad".

Okay, every since I can remember I have always been one to leave the house when upset or angry no matter who I am arguing with. Well, I have lived with my husband for a year and three months now...well when we get in a heated argument I feel like i HAVE to leave. I don't know exactly why...it is almost like I feel trapped in a corner and I need room to breathe. I feel like if I stay it will make things worse, but if I get out for a while and think, I will come back much calmer and ready to talk it out instead of screaming it out. But the problem is that my husband HATES it when I do that. So my question to you all is....does anybody else do what I do? Why do you do it? How do you stop? I want to respect my husband and try to work on not leaving the house, but I don't know how to stop....please give me some advice! THANKS!!!

ok.. so i have a friend on myspace.. she's a girl.. and i love her so much.. she's also a really good friend...

Okay, this guy I dated for a month and a half. I saw him almost twice a week for the first month. Then the last two weeks he started getting a little distant. After I saw him two saturdays ago I texted him twice and got no response. He hasnt called me either. my fiancee and I are seriously drained we have been together for almost five years and recently he moved to another state and we have been doing long distance for 7months and it is draining us.My recent visit with him last week we agreed to go to city hall next month and have something next year. I have a 5 day old baby. His dad has been gone since July 22nd. I know it's not long but I am having such a hard time by myself. It seems like I just want to give up. I love him so much but it's so hard with this new baby. All i can think about is how much i miss him. I'm letting myself get depressed. I don't think I'm cut out to be a Marine wife, I need my mate beside me, to hold me up. How did you cope with being alone for months or years at a time? my mom is bugging me so much about my married life, my in laws, my career, my health, my friends... just about everything. nothing seems to work for her.
now that i am pregnant, she is forever asking me about the baby and why i am not going to the hospital for the smallest stomach upset or headache.
if i go to meet friends, she tells me to avoid exerting myself. and if i dont meet anyone for a couple of days, she says i need to go out and meet other people.
before i married, she used to be very restrictive, and i never got to spend time with my friends, or do anything fun. all she wanted was for me to get married soon. now that i have, she must be happy, but she has complaints about me marrying far away...
i can understand that she misses me. and i miss her too. i keep assuring her that things are fine with me. but still she seems to think that i ll be better off and living next door to her.
is everybody's moms this way ?

A girl that i was very interested in rejected me after a year of friendship. We both really liked each other and she said i "light a fire in her veins" when we are together. But after i asked her to be my gf she rejected me and started to go out fwith this other guy. Well obviously I was hurt and i don't wanna be her friend anymore. So I stopped talking to her for a week and she keeps sending me all these emails asking whats wrong with me and why i am ignoring her. I think its pretty f***ing obvious why im ignoring her. yetserday me my bf and my friend were in the car and while i was driving i saw a boy that used to be my friend. i met him about the same time i met my bf but when i met the boy i was single. well the boy i saw was good friends but then he started telling me how he wanted to be with me and he hopes we can have a relationship. but by then i had a bf so i told him no, so i didnt feel right talking to him anymore because i know that he wants to be with me so i ignore all his phone calls. so anyway while i was driving he saw me and i felt so bad beacuse he had just called me a hour earlier.

anyway when i dropped my boyfriend off at his car me and my friend that was in the car started talking about the boy we had just saw, and my bf got mad and said why do i have to talk when he gets out the car.
