is it attractive or too over powering when you are with a girl who lands a great job/career? i just got an amazing job and my boyfriend is still finishing grad school - what would a typical guy think of his girlfriend in this case?

I personally find it attractive that a woman can do it all for herself. She isn't looking for her man to take care of her. She can survive without him. She also exhibits that she wants to be with a man for him not for his money which further validates her love for him because it's not based on money but rather love itself. So it is attractive to some men but other men will want to be the beard winners and make all the money. This of course has nothing to do with you because you are doing it with a boyfriend. I believe that most men find it attractive though.

I love a successful woman, if i was in his shoes i would be very proud of you and hope that you wear those business suits they make for women, i kinda got a thing for that ;) Anyways yeah i think he would be happy for you. Just make sure you dont focus only on your job and let the relationship suffer :)

Happy and proud. Perhaps a bit anxious about how it will affect your relationship, i.e.,will there be enough time for us?
my advice is ask him directly, a graduate student should be able to express himself to his girlfriend.

I personally think it would be incredible! You are an individual first & need to accomplish your dreams. If you are happy w/ you you will be happy together! It is petty if he is jealous!
