SHOULD he be mad at my honesty?

yetserday me my bf and my friend were in the car and while i was driving i saw a boy that used to be my friend. i met him about the same time i met my bf but when i met the boy i was single. well the boy i saw was good friends but then he started telling me how he wanted to be with me and he hopes we can have a relationship. but by then i had a bf so i told him no, so i didnt feel right talking to him anymore because i know that he wants to be with me so i ignore all his phone calls. so anyway while i was driving he saw me and i felt so bad beacuse he had just called me a hour earlier.

anyway when i dropped my boyfriend off at his car me and my friend that was in the car started talking about the boy we had just saw, and my bf got mad and said why do i have to talk when he gets out the car.

so i decided that night to tell my boyfriend about the situation because i love him and i thought i could tell him anything. but he got so mad but he said he just dosent feel good

he says he dosent feel right knowing the boy stays right down the street from me. i told him it dosent matter if he lived next door i love u and would never cheat on you. I just thought i should be honest with someine love and wanna spend the rest of my life with

See no reason he should be mad. U did nothing with this boy. You cant help that this boy likes you. You told him you had a bf and kept it movin. Your bf should be glad you being honest with you and flattered that someone wants what he has

That was a good thing you did tell your b/f about the other boy and explaining everything. I think it's just the shock of what you said he's just jealous of the thought of another boy likeing you. If he loves you he should trust you and know you wouldn't cheat or do anything to hurt him. He will get over it. I just hope he doesn't go down the street and beat the kid up lol. j/k Things will die down in a few days or so.

Give him time to let it all sink in. Anyone would be a little upset knowing a horn-dog lives just down the street waiting to pounce on their girlfriend.
Next time "that boy" calls, just hand the phone to your boyfriend. He'll know what to say.

I can see where he maybe upset, but, he has 2 honor u 4 ur honesty. In form him, "hey i could have kept it 2 myself and not said a think".

If that doesn't hit him between the eyes. well u have a immature dude there and I'd be look somewhere Else.

If he gets that jealous over that, hell he'll be jealous over everything.

Its better to be honest so BF can have his eyes open to this other boy. Just don't do anything behind BF's back or do anything you would be mad if BF does. If BF can't handle it and you are being honest, then maybe BF isn't the right one.

maybe it's the way your honesty came about that seemed dishonest to him....(after the fact ..after he missed the conversation ..u can make it sound like what ever you want in your favor)...If this boy had just called you an hr. before .....he's in hot pursuit of u ,and if you aren't overly trying to stop it, maybe you're diggin him and it's showing on you subconsciously.....this question has alot of variables...hope my comments help u alittle..Good luck

No he SHOULDN'T be mad at all.

However, as a guy, I know that we often can get jealous very easily. He doesn't mean any harm, it's just a sign of how much he cares for you and doesn't want to lose you. I know it'll be hard, but try not hold his jealousy against him.
