I really do not. Sooner or later you have feelings for the gal or viceversa. When my girlfriend used to tell me she had a friend (man), I told her sooner or later he would try to go farther, and it did (always)

I think it trully depends on the people and the kind of friendship the two have. If the two are constantly hanging out, talking, etc., its hard not to have feelings. It can be done, but I'd say more often than not the feelings could lead to something more. HOWEVER, I am a female and I have a lot of male friends. I talk to them occasionally and do not hang out with them one on one.. It's usually in groups and we all just have a good time. So I guess my answer to your question is it depends..

Yes, but it depends on the people involved. Some guys will chase after anything and don't value woman enough as friends - so it doesn't ever work for them. Other guys don't have a problem with just being friends. It's pretty normal to experience attraction to another person (even married peopel do this) but we don't have to ever act on it or tell them as most of the time it goes away again.

It is certainly possible but both have to be mature enough not to fool themselves or the other person. Having a friend of the opposite sex is helpful and serves a good purpose in understanding what makes man/woman tick. Go for it

Well it's usual for the guy to have feelings for the guy with the female friend but it is possible for a man and woman just to be friends

i think they can i am friends with alot of guys and most never try anything but it could be that they all know i have a bf and dont try to get in my pants could be . . . but i know what you mean my bf says the same thing you do so to make him happy i dont hang out with them by myself i hang out with them in groups that way they dont get a chance to try anything he says but if you act like you have a bf no guy well that i know is going to try anything and if they do they cant get it and go and tell their guy friends that they cant get so now one can

Of course you can, i mean there is gonna be some sexual tension no doubt. But what seperates us from the animals is being able to control our base instincts.
