Aye, I wouldnt use the phone. I also would have asked her what she was suffering from, you had every right to, she was imposing on you. I am not a germaphobe by far, I have two kids so you kind of cant be with kids running around, but herpes is highy contagous and not to be fooled around with. Throw that phone away and you just may have to live for a few days without a cell phone until you can get a new one or the other is repaired. I know for a fact that you can live without your cell phone, up until a few years ago we all did!

why is this in the weddings section??? seriously do people even look at the categories to choose where your question might be answered best? Why on earth would you, germaphobe or not , let someone on the street you didn't know ,and who was obviously sick with something ,use your phone?Oh wait that's right you have no sense of judgment at all that's why you placed a question about cell phones in the weddings section. Stop being a baby clean the phone, don't let others use your phone and get over it.

Did this happen to you at a wedding? Is it something you've seen happen at weddings?
My honest advice in this situation, though, would be to give it a good going over with a disinfectant wipe.
If it still disturbs you, be rid of it and don't lend your phone to people with cold sores again.
If you're such a germaphobe, why did you lend your phone to someone with cold sores in the first place?

Wipe It Clean with a good disinfectant.
Why did you let a stranger use your phone? I never let anyone I don't know use it. If they ask, and it's not in plain site. I say, "sorry, I don't have one or I left it at home"
If they can see it, I say, "Sorry, I'm very limited on my phone use. I don't have a lot of minutes left or something like that."

The germs would be dead by now.
For the record, that's what phone insurance is for. :) I pay $5 a month for the peace of mind of knowing that if I ever drop my phone in the toilet, I can just saunter over to the store, and they'll give me a new one.

Get some antibacterial wipes, such as you utilize to wipe off counters. Wipe the telephone down actual thoroughly. Or, you may desire to spray it with some rubbing alcohol in a sprig bottle. Yuck! i understand what you mean. Germs on the telephone or something make me experience undesirable. next time somebody desires to apply something of yours, tell them, provided that they placed on gloves and a face mask! lol they're going to probable in basic terms ask somebody else.

I don't see what this has to do with weddings, so please make sure you check your category before posting.
There are plenty of things out there, such as antibacterial wipes, available to disinfect things like cell phones. If you're still that wary of it, then just get a new phone and don't let anyone borrow it.

Use a really good disinfectant. You never let anyone use your cell phone. What exactly does this have to do with weddings?

I would clean it off to the best of my ability, and use it. It's not like I'm gonna spend $600 on another iPhone! Wipe it off with an antibacterial cloth.
