Okay...I want a traditional first dance to "I'll be" by Edwin McKain with my fiance but I want a second more upbeat dance to follow right after the slow dance. My fiance's mother owns a dance studio and dance is her life. I thought it would be a great idea to pick a silly more upbeat song and have her coriograph a dance to it. Only problem is I'll still be in my wedding dress so a salsa or swing dance wont be easy! I mean my skirt is very full and Ill have it in a french bussle for the reception. I was thinking a song like MJ's "The Way You Make Me Feel" or "I Believe in a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness...funny songs that would be fun to dance to. What kind of dance do you think would entertain our guests AND that I could pull off with my dress that wouldnt be too slow or too stuffy. Any ideas?

My boyfriend of 6 years cheated on me over an online relationship with another woman while away in iraq, i found out and now we are starting to work things out. He tells me It will never happen again and it was the biggest mistake he has ever done in his life. He says he loves me and I know he does. He asked me to marry him and now we are engaged. Yes I'm hurt from of it all, but does he have the right to know that I also cheated on him with 3 other guys or should I just leave it as it is and just help each other make our relationship better because he is willing to do everything to fix things up?

I'm hoping to be moving in with two of my best friends in the spring, my best friend since pretty much daycare and his sister who I became friends with in highschool. Theyve become like a brother and sister to me. Were all above 18 however their parents are very Filipino and they still live at home. Their parents love me and have unofficially sort of adopted me i call them mom, dad that sort of thing.
However they dont feel that them living away from home isnt such a good idea right now. (Mind you in many countries children stay with their parents through college and into their mid twenties.) We can do it it would be wiser for all of us to move in together than to live separatly. we each make enough money for renting a good apartment, if we pool our resources.
How can we convince them for all of us to get an apartment together?
And having them just go is out of the option they NEED their parents permission first.
please help

No liquor allowed, that is.. in place, there's sparkling cider. I basically grew up with alcoholic people surrounding me, and I hate alcohol.. for my wedding, I wouldn't want to serve any. It is MY wedding, after all, my party.. Sure, the guests would probably be a bit shocked, but tough luck. Hehe. You don't have to drink to have good time.. I know at least my uncle and dad would be wasted by the end of the night, and PISS me OFF!! GRRR.. so, anyway, my question is what do you think of a dry wedding? Ever been to one?

I really like this guy, we've been dating a few months but the last time we went out he didn't contact me for over a week and ignored a few of my texts. I figured he was done with us and that was that.

Yesterday my X boyfriend comes into town. He'll be in town for another few weeks but lives on the east coast and I'm on the west. Well I was sort of upset at this other guy so ended up fooling around with my ex. And even made plans for him to spend the night, hey I thought the other guy wasn't gonna be around anymore.

Now the problem. Guy #1 contacts me today and tells me he realy likes me and wants to continue seeing me and that he is sorry about not answering my texts, he was going through a ruff time, etc.. Guy #1 lives near me.

What should I do now?? My ex and I have plans to go out tommorrow and he's planned to stay at my place. And Guy #1 wants to make plans and stay at my place this weekend. What have I got myself into! HELP! Neither know of the other.

but she refused to do it the second time because she didn't want it to be just that. she was a virgin and personally didn't feel it was right. Nevertheless, she stood her ground regardless of how many mind games you play with her or how much you "punish" her for refusing to give in. And she eventually breaks it off.

When I realized that I was in control of my life (I decide what to do, what to feel, what to think), I felt a sense of new gained power. However, my mom doesn't get it. I'm not putting her down for not getting it, I just want to help her to finally see as she is approaching 60, that as hard as life is, she still has control of what she does, thinks and feels. Her way of controlling her life is binging and gambling...and pretty much blaming others for her feeling bad.

What do you think? Know anyone like that, or maybe you were like that? I just feel so helpless and frustrated b/c I get LIFE...and she's almost 60 and still doesn't get the basics.

Im getting married October 20th and it seems to have snuck up on me FAST..
so far I have gotten my dress and a few other minor things but still no cake or down payment on a place or flowers or anything..

no one in my family has actually really had a wedding (everyone just went to justice of the peace) and i cant really afford to hire a wedding planner, we're trying to do everything on our own.

anyways, im starting to wonder if its even possible to throw together a decent wedding in a little over 2 months all on my own (with help from a few relatives.)

I guess Im just curious if anyone else has done or is doing the same thing and maybe a few pointers would help out so much. Im just really stressed over the whole issue, i hope i can pull it all together.

thanks in advance!

I'm a 14 year old girl. I'm quite popular with both boys and girls at school and I'm pretty good looking. Recently, the boy who sits in front of me said that he liked me and he told everybody! He would be furious if other boys spoke to me(he even beat up another guy who likes me) and he wants to do everything for me. He follows me everywhere around school and insists in walking home with me everyday after school. But I don't like it. What should I do??

There is not a chance I'm asking my parents to do it. I can pay almost 20k down on a 50k starter home. I am a student with a lot of assets, but do not have a good paying job (yet).. only what my parents have invested in the stock market for me.

Her family knows that I have more than enough money, but how do I approach them? I'm paying 1k/month for our rent when my mortgage would be 1/2 that.

We just really need to get out of renting and own a house before we get married in a year.
