right now i am recieving 1700 a month in child support ...when this order took affect my ex was makeing 120,000 a year...now he is makeing about 240,000 a year but the problem is that the okdhs will only handle child support up to 2300 a month...my question is do you think a judge will give me more than 2300 a month??for 3 kids arent they intitled to some of that 1/4 of a million dollars a year??

Re: Pre-marital contract.
Facts: Husband & wife were married for 13 years before husband's death, & were together for 6 1/2 years before they married. Contract says Husband "will establish, in the JOINT name of husband & wife, a payable-on-death (POD) account in the principal sum of $150,000 for the sole purpose of distribution to wife at husband's death, & which at distribution shall become her sole & separate property. All interest monies earned on this account shall be deposited to the joint checking account established under subparagraph C of this paragraph 6 & used for daily living expenses, or as otherwise agreed between the parties."
Issue #1: Husband diverted $63,500 from this fund to his personal checking account. Is wife entitled to reimbursement after husband's death?
Issue #2: No interest money was ever deposited to joint checking acct & no agreement to do otherwise. Is wife entitled to interest monies on the principal sum for the term of the marriage?

I am getting married October 20,07. A few years ago, i was diagnosed with Panic Disorder and am taking medication for it which my Doc. suggests to increase dosage a month prior to the Wedding. She also suggested to maybe take a sleeping pill the night before so i get a good nights sleep so it's one less thing to worry about and not to get panicky about. I'm worried about this. I have never taken sleeping pills before. I was just wondering if any of you have opinions or have taken them to get some sleep the day before and what were your results. You see, i'm afraid that being so excited, i still won't be able to sleep during the night, then i'll be tired in the morning. Any info. would be great.

My daughter is 15 and normally live with her Dad in another state. She is staying with me right now and her Dad has moved to a different state due to his job.

He wants us to come back together as a family again. My daughter says that she does not care what happens to her.

My ex-husband is controlling and does micromanage minor issues.

His major complaint about me is that I am not dependable or reliable which is valid because I have left him and my daughter many times and gone back. It was wrong on my part.

It would be an adjustment for me to move to a different state. My daughter has to start a new school anyway. The main priority and focus has to be her so that she is a success in life. She is entering 11th grade which is a critical year.

My job is a contract and will be ending in a few weeks..

I see that since my job is ending and she should be in a complete family, I should go. Then, I wonder if I can change and adjust again.

I am an honors student and have been one since kindergarden. I am the only fit person in my house. I have got 9 awards for figure skating. My dad smiles when i bring home my report card and the metals and then it blows by him. My brother wants to get fit so he started to go to the gym. My dad seems so much more enthuesatic about that.He talks about it all the time that it even annoys my mom. He looks for stuff online to show him what weight lifting does for him. Our whole food shopping list has changed because my dad wants my brother to be surrounded by healthy food so he won't be tempted. As i said above i have got all A's since kindergarden and my brother has got A's, B's, and C's from kinderagrden until 7th grade. In 7th to the 2nd quarter in 8th grade he got 2 C's 1 A and the rest were D-'s and F's. In eighth he wnt up from a d to a c+ in spanish and my dad took the family out to dinner beacuse of that. I have talked to him beacuse of that. what to do!!

I'm in a terrible situation. Before you judge my situation from what you read, please don't tell me the feelings aren't genuine, etc. This is a very sensitive thing to me.

I fell in love with a married man. He is very unhappily married. His wife can some into our place of work and they barely acknowledge each other. They fight constantly. Shes threatening divorce, he's threatening divorce, yet neither takes action.

I'm pregnant with his child. It was a planned pregnancy. He tells me that he wants to leave his wife very badly and has even promised me he will before the baby comes. His words tell me that hes going to leave, but his actions really don't and his body language doesn't.

I'm really fed up with all of this. We think about each other 24/7. We spend all of our time with each other. He's with me all day. I've never felt so in love with a man as I do now, and I can tell by his eyes and the way he talks to me he feels the same way. Why won't he leave?

I am having an affair with my ex brother in law and he is married. We have always been great friends with a atraction to each other for 27 years. We lived together for a year when he seprated from his wife. He decided recently to try and make it work with his wife for his son because she made him feel like a loser dad she put the guilt trip on him. His wife said if she found out he even talked to me she would leave him. But yet he calls me everyday and sees me when I fly out there he said he made a misstake and he is in love with me but cant hurt her a second time hes afraid too because he just moved them to a new state . But yet they are unhappy and fight all the time because she hates it there. How could I let her find out with out it coming from me??

Us being his daughter & I. He has a good job that pays him $13.00 an hour.
Whenever he gets paid we go out and get stuff we need for the house and pay bills. The thing is when we go shopping, it's like he has to buy 2 of everything, One for us & one for his mom the same thing with the bills too.
I really think she's a financial burden. Shes in her 40's, doesnt have a job nor does she try to get one, neither does her "boyfriend", and she's a habitual drug user. For that reason I dont like my daughter around her.
She has a place of her own with her "boyfriend" and some other family members.
Anyway, I was wondering what you all think about this. Is it right for him to be supporting her when he has a family of his own now?
Also, his mom wasn't much of a "mom" as he was growing up. We have been together a long time.

Where do you draw the line. In general. Married w/ Children, we both work, my parents have needed help, we've been helping them, we feel like we've helped enough, their situation is starting to cut into our needs & wants. We do better than them, but when does it end? Is it when everyone is screwed and totally out of money? Told them we can't help anymore, and now I'm the bad guy.

My parents never get along because they have too many differences, too many mistakes, and too many arguments!!!
The second thing is that my aunt can't be trusted and is not responsible for her kids so she just throws them to our house to take care of and goes out getting drunk with her friends (they're bad people), and plus my cousins and i do not get along! My aunt is the black ksheep in the family because she doesn't care for her kids and hangs around with the wrong people and she used to make us give her money. My parents don't take care of them (because they go to work and they work at the same job) i always do and i'm just twelve!! I do not want to take care of them or have anything to do with them because i do not want them to stay. Whenever i want something and i can't have it - then if they want something she gives it to them!!! ugh i can't wait till i move out!!

His issues with his ex wife are crazy. Previously to her filing on him for child support, I knew he paid her in cash etc. I even said, with her issues, you should contact the court and change this, because she could come back and say you didn`t pay a dime, well that`s what she has done, at the time I mentioned this to him, he responded with it`s his business and such. I understand he has to protect his daughter, etc, But it seems like he could figure out something for his daughter to live with him due to the ex using meth. BUT to add more, he lives with his mother, he does work, now they have garnished his wages and we talked yesterday and he tells me that there probably won`t be a future for us now because of all this and that he feels bad for me having to go through this with him. It seems to me this ex holds all the control. They all walk on egg shells with her. It`s sickening. Aren`t any of them concerned that she is a meth addict, teacher and a mother? How disturbing is that?

I am in a 4 yr marriage,and my husband refuses to say he loves me,he is also very rough during sex and afterwards I feel used,and start crying and immediately want a shower.He says fck love just have fun,and sex is fun.He won't even comfort me when I cry.
