right now i am recieving 1700 a month in child support ...when this order took affect my ex was makeing 120,000 a year...now he is makeing about 240,000 a year but the problem is that the okdhs will only handle child support up to 2300 a month...my question is do you think a judge will give me more than 2300 a month??for 3 kids arent they intitled to some of that 1/4 of a million dollars a year??

Petition the courts for a hearing to remodify child support, then explain the situation to the Judge and see what happens. The worst scenario would be it remains the same but its damn well worth trying here. Each state has its guidelines to go by but a Judge can modify from them to fit the situation so file. Just have the proof that he has the increase in income

I really can't answer your question by Oklahoma law, but why not get an attorney and let him modify your support order? I think that would be the best route for all of you.

My goodness girl!!! 1700/month!!! I can't even get my 300/mo from my baby daddy!! Lucky you!
