Many things in your life will either work or not work. Are you stubborn in the pursuit of the things you do or open minded. Do not for any reason be a follower in your life we have to many of those already. Followers carry low self esteem and are looking for others to blame when things do not work as planned.
Be yourself and follow only your instincts.Be open to suggestion but mold it into something you are able to use by your standards. There is no perfect answer for everything but the many ideaas some bring to the table give us a clue in the direction we take.
Soon you will see things falling intro place as this happens you will start to believe more in yourself and your abilities. This my friend will make you believe in your own way of living.

It sounds simple, but you just kind of make a conscious decision to believe, and it happens. Changing the way you think can I think at least be achieved through first realising that there are other ways of thinking. If your mind is open to alternatives then this can happen, or someone else can convince you. Are you one of the guys on that program who has a life size lady doll instead of a girlfriend?

You already do believe in your own way as you ask this question. To change your thinking you cannot. But mix with people you admire or want to be more like and your thinking will naturally change.

You don't have to change the way you think to accommodate a belief. The belief in what you are doing is in there somewhere or you wouldn't be doing it. If you are trying to justify your life in some way then you have to review on a regular basis. I mean that you have to say to yourself 'these are the reasons I believe in what I am doing'. Doubts are there to be a catalyst for a review. Sometimes doubts tip the balance and you find that your lifestyle is no longer valid. You either find new ways to justify your situation or you move on.

hi!
well, one thing you can do is stop and think before you say anything or react to ANY situation -- good or bad..
it takes practice.
what i've done is stop and count to 20 in my mind, just to have a little "pause" and it gives us time to think about what we might say.
as for your "own way of living" -- be YOU! there isn't another YOU on earth.. be happy you are unique.
if you have things you want to change, just practice.
i'm sure you're a very nice person.
one more thing, you can look up CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) self help -- do a search... CBT is a type of therapy psychologists use to help change a person's way of thinking and behaviors.... maybe you could read about it, and take some advice there?
also, i'm sure there are a lot of self-help books at the library or for sale...
hugs hugs

Why would you want to change the way you think?our thoughts make us the individuals that we are,you can live the way you want tot live as long as it,s not bothering anyone else, the way i live is very different to a lot of people,i have the grim reaper in most rooms, and skulls, and rolling bone bands,if i invite someone to our house, they come to see us,not what we have,or the way we live.the way you live in your own home is up to you,it gives off your individuallity, unlike a lot of people i know, they have to have what the jones,s have,be proud of the way you live, and never change the way you think, unless you want to,not what someone else wants you to think, your own thoughts are always the best to you, believe in yourself.

You first start with the belief that you are a good and decent person. Then you choose the way you want to live your life. I do things that some people would consider to be immoral, but I stand by what I do because I know that I am fundamentally a good person.

Why would you want to change the way you think?
The answer to this question might be the answer to your question.
If there's some way you're thinking that you don't like, then simply change it.
If it's the way you were brought up, then that might be a little tougher.
But if it's a matter of changing the way you think so that you will be happy, I think I would be able to change my way of thinking at the snap of a finger.

You have to really want to and are willing to do the work to make the changes.
Changing for the better is what I believe we're all supposed to do.
Get some books on the subject.....talk to people who are the way you want to be....and if necessary get professional help.

You can try professional help... you talk about the way you think and evaluate what does and what does not work for you.
You can change your behavior and choices and your thinking will eventually follow.
You can continually pray for clarity and change.
