My best friend is getting married at the age 19. I'm in college and won't be able to make it home for the shower, only the wedding. What are some good ideas for an inexpensive gift that I could send to her? Any ideas would help! I am not the wedding type/house wife kind of girl!

well i remember when i was a kid me and my mum use to always bake cookies and stuff, and she would help me with my homework, she would never get mad at me, she would do my washing, all those motherely kind of things.

now i barely even no my mum. my parents are getting divorced. i live with my dad and i only see my mum about an hour a day and sometimes never. she gets mad at me all the time, when i ask for her to help me with my homework she says she doesnt no how to do it without even looking at the question, my parents ALWAYS fight infront of me, they smoke infront of me, damn she wont do anything with me anymore, there is ALWAYS collection agencys calling up at my dads house. if im sad or im crying they wont do anything or ask whats wrong.

im not saying that they are bad parents but i just wish they would be more like they use to. its like i dont even no them anymore. and they are always fighting about money.

so what do you think???

I am separated from my husband 3 months and I have met some one who is everything that I want in a man, he's attentive, sensative, motivated, caring, fun, funny( makes me laugh all the time), we talk on the phone almost 3-4 times a day. So far he seems perfect ( I know, i know nobody is perfect) but he's pretty damn close. lol Sometimes I think we are clicking so fast but I'm loving every minute of it. He lives out of town so we don't see each other everyday but ...... i don't know i'm smitten. What should I do? No I have absolutely no intentions of reconciling with my husband....making plans as I speak to end it. Just seeking some opinions.....
And yes I know it's ultimately my decision.

My boyfriend (well ex) and I were together for only a few months. I ended up going through a bunch of baby momma drama and family issues with him and stuck it out and stayed by his side the whole time. I was more faithful to him than I have ever been to anyone. He told me he was in love with me and that I was the first girl that he's ever fallen in love with. I like him alot and cared deeply for him but I can't honestly say I was in love.
Yesterday I found out that he's cheating on me with someone he met on myspace! They have only been talking over the phone and myspace. Come to find out, I know the girl because she was cool with my ex boyfriend! He told her that he was single and that I was just a friend. He won't talk to me on the phone or in person. Only text. I didn't really wanna do it but I was forced to break up with him (through a text). Now I'm hurt. The only remorseful thing he said was that he wasn't happy. He didn't even reply to my breakup text. :( How do I get over this

My boyfriend and I have been together for 1 year and 4 months. Living together for 4 months. When we had only been dating for a few weeks, he up and moved 2 and a half hours away for a job. The town we are both from doesn't really have any good jobs. Well, I did most of the commuting to be with him (90%) and in April we moved in together as he found a job in our hometown. Now he wants to move again to a job 4 hours away! Without even talking to me first either. He just up and told me he hates his job and is moving to get a better one. He's been starting arguments since then too. I feel like he's laying the groundwork for just totaling leaving our relationship. Am I right?

I am going to be a bride's maid in a wedding and am brining my six week daughter. My husband and I are divorcing and he will be out of state the night of the wedding. The reception starts at 7 and ends at midnight. I want to stay for the whole reception. I am not hiring a baby sitter because all of my baby sitters will be at the wedding. I plan to put my daughter in her baby carrier in a quiet corner at bedtime. Is this a good thing to do or should I leave earlier?

It looks inacceptable in your answers if a married man have women friends when they are real friends;always the ghost of distrust ,jealousy and insecurity are present;it's incredible.

Both, men and women distrust theirs partners all the time;the sense of friendship has been destroyed in US society. It's very sad and disappointing, believe me.

Neither men nor women cna have sincere friends of the opposite gender.Society is dead.

Really,i"m very sad to read those answers.

generally if i am at home, my sister sits on the couch and lets her 19 month old baby wander around, upstairs, downstairs, everywhere. so i normally end up watching him, making sure nothing happens to him.

i have just lost a baby myself, so it's really hard for me to basically be looking after a baby full time that isnt my own. i love playing with him, but at the same time i cant discipline him or comfort him because it's not my place.

i have been really sick after the ectopic pregnancy. and i had to go to the hospital today. i told my sister i couldn't look after him today, i was in the bath and he fell down the stairs. she wants me to look after him full-time but then she can take him away at any time. and is getting too attached to me. like a 2nd mum or a dad. i find it hard to just leave him to get hurt. what should i do??

My question may tickle some and make others irate, but I have observed a trend amongst my female friends. These are good looking women, with jobs(not gold diggers), smart, decent and with lots going for them but somehow seem to attract men whose only interest is sex. These men promise the moon and when the women get interested and begin talking marriage the men pull back and break up. Many of these men later come back and try to reconnect on a purely sexual basis-which reminds me of rebooting a computer. So why do some men reboot women?

Do they wear a suit, a tuxedo, or what? If they do wear a tuxedo are they different from the groomsmen? Also, is the grooms tuxedo usually a little different from the groomsmen or all the same? Thank you so much!

My little brother accidently left his baseball mitt and 9 new baseballs outside for the night. Today, we were going to play a baseball game and he couldn't find them and we had to tell our neighbors we couldn't play. I looked around town for 2 and a half hours. Since he was in tears, I gave him my ticket to the Cubs Phillies game tonight that I have been waiting for to see Aaron Rowand and Tadahito Iguchi. Then, my dad comes home to take us to the game and I tell him my brother is going because I felt bad for him with the mitt (it had his favorite players autograph on it). Then my dad tells me he hid it to teach him a lesson. So I didn't get to go because I wasn't ready. Then my sister was calling me names and saying, "don't say I didn't let you go." and my dad was being a brat to me. How can I stop him from doing this? He didn't even care that my sister was calling me names and that he let kids in the neighborhood down, wasted my day, and put me down when I was looking forward to the

Please, any constuctive suggestions would be appreciated. Drinking is not an option.

I did not catch my wife in bed with my brother in law but I did find cards with terms of endearment written all over them. I also found seperate cell phone bills with nothing but his cell # on it. She was using my credit cards to pay these bills over the phone. I confronted her on this and cut her off from my money. I am the sole provider (three kids, two under age ten). I earn about $120,000 a year. She has since then maxed out her cards, applied for more, and overdrawn her personal ckg acct. She does not want to work outside the home, but she is nearing the end of her financial rope. Her parents and sister do not speak with her anymore for obvoius reasons. I want to provide for my kids but she repulses me. Is this going to have any effect on custody or alimony issues. I live in Arizona. Please help>
