My little brother accidently left his baseball mitt and 9 new baseballs outside for the night. Today, we were going to play a baseball game and he couldn't find them and we had to tell our neighbors we couldn't play. I looked around town for 2 and a half hours. Since he was in tears, I gave him my ticket to the Cubs Phillies game tonight that I have been waiting for to see Aaron Rowand and Tadahito Iguchi. Then, my dad comes home to take us to the game and I tell him my brother is going because I felt bad for him with the mitt (it had his favorite players autograph on it). Your dad and sis are @$$e$. You did a real good thing for your brother trying to make him feel better and they punished you for it. Please dont let them make you not want to be good to people because they are jerks. If you were my kid I would be very proud of you.

hi...

well sorry to hear this happened.

first rule of thumb -- don't "reward" a kid for losing his mitt and baseballs by giving him a ticket to a game... sure, you felt badly, but he made a mistake and needs to learn from it... how many times has someone awarded you for losing something?

as for the rest of your question, you can't control what your father does... learn how NOT to act through observation.

take care
