Ok, my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 8 months now. I love my dad and I feel completely comfortable talk to him about everything, which is weird because it is usually the mother a daughter goes to :P. Anyway, my boyfriend and I are ready to have sex and I refuse to do anything until I talk to my dad and go on birth control. Even though I am comfortable talking to my dad, I am nervous and I need some advice. My dad has already talked to me several times and told me that he's not going to over react and put me on house arrest or nothing, lol. He said that he would help with anything, condoms, birth control, running to planned pregnancy if needed etc. But I still seem to be nervous and we would like to talk to him early next month. (I go out of town tomorrow, and then again the 26th) Please help! Any advice is needed!

First of all I have to say that Ive done some research lately to see what women really want cause ive had it up to hear with what women say they want and what they really want. They say they want a guy who challenges them makes them laugh, has confidence and has self control. I think that it is understandable. My question is i have been waiting for a girl that I can honestly say that I love before i have sex truthfully i am. My question is i am 20 and the girls I date i know by the way i act i can attract them but whenever the sexual talks come into play i tense up and show no confidence because i really dont have much experience. My question for the ladies is how do i go about maintaing all the things a girl would want even when i have no experience sexually. How can I win there heart if they almost have to show me the ropes sort of speak and they dont want a guy that they have to do this for. So how does a labelled nice guy by many women get out of a jam like this.

ok, well we have been going out for about 5 months now, we are both still in high school, and the relationship between the 2 of us has been magical, I have never been this happy before in my life, we are perfect for each other. However our relationship is hard at the same time because of her dad, who does not even trust us to be alone together, so no going out alone, and on top of that if I want to see her it can only be once a week, this makes things almost impossible for us, he has called me a ******* prick before, and also has a proablem with the fact that I am not jewish, I have tried just about everything to gain his trust, but its not working and it is making things really hard on me and my girlfriend, and has been almost tearing up our lives, I know that it has been a mayjor part of my life, effecting me a lot ever since it started, HELP please, this girl means everything to me, and I cant let it not work out because of her father, but its driving us crazy...... I cant take it.

Is it just me, or are girls to attracted to the "bad boys" and thugs?

I'm a good student, and people always tell me that I'm really nice. I'm nice to girls, and I talk to them every now and then (just about normal stuff, how their day went, etc.). I just worry that I'm too, well, boring.

I've tried being the jerk (stupid, stupid, stupid!) with disastrous results.

How do I develop the confidence and charisma to get to know the ladies as people, take them out, etc,and not bore them to death?

ok so im goin to the movies with one of my friends (shes a girl, im a guy, its kinda our thing) and i was wondering if i should get her a gift. you know something so she will remember me. we are goin to different colleges thats why this is the last time we will see each other for a while. we are JUST FRIENDS nothing more. i only say that cause we tried the "dating" thing and it didnt work out so we decided to just be friends. so should i get her something or not? if so what should i get her?

Ok I had an observation the other day for a position at a doctors office and it was between me and this other girl who got hired. Well they hired her in the end only because they said she had more medical experience what they call it b/c it was only a high school program that she went to and "observed" surgeries in he hospital. that is NOT experience!!!! i think it is BS! i had scrubs, she didnt. I was early, she was late! and they still picked her! also, she goes to a university for pre-med and they want to focus on school schedule AROUND work schedule. I dont think she will be able to do it b/c its like from 8-12 two days of the week and then 8-5pm the other 2 days. And in medical usually the only classes offered at a school are in 2's, meaning there aren't many hours of the day you can pick from so she wouldnt be able to take them. Im going to school part time for radiology and they did xrays there. Do you think that girl will end up quitting???? what do you think about this?

My 28-year-old step-son finally got his undergraduate degree from a not-so-reputable private college a year ago and moved back home since. He took 8 months to find first job, but is about to lose this job recently. He is a loner living in our nicely furnished basement. Our relationship is going downhill for the last few months since he had repeatedly disrespected me in front of other family members, threaten me, and use violent language to against me. I couldn't get my husband to make any changes because he is always trying to protect his son. Few weeks ago, I smelt strong stinky smoke at the basement and told my husband. He is shock when his son admitted that he is using illegal drug. He is hurt but still can not do or say anything to his son. His son is sleeping, watching TV, or playing baseball. I can't communicate with my husband to help his son to get back his life and find another job. His son becomes the problem in my marriage. How do I protect my 3 other children?

I recently confronted my girlfriends racist parents. Yes I am a mixed, and proud of it. Anyway It was the 4th of July and I had plans with my girlfriend. Her mom had messed up our plans and really pissed me off. So I marched up to her parents house hand in hand with may girlfriend and confronted her mom. I was very respectful!! I told her how I felt about her daughter and how much she means to me. All while she was yelling at me. At the end of this dillema, her mom agreed to meet me over dinner with my girlfriend and her father and mother and also me. I thought everything was good to go and I actually go through to her mother. She actually asid that she can see how much I love and care for her daughter. My girlfreind and I made plans to go out to the a theme park and she told her mother and she filpped out. Asked my girlfriend why is she going with me, and she shouldnt. Did she TOTALLY forget what she said to me? Its like we are back at square one again...What do I do?

What's the deal with this new trend? I confess I really don't get it at all. The reception is the hard part to plan, so why elope and still have the reception. The reception is the part that causes all the problems - who sits where, how much to spend, what food to serve, etc. So tell me why did you elope and then plan a reception anyway?

I am not allowed to drink and drive or my husband will spank me - we agreed to this......... but:
I was drinking some while driving a four wheeler on a camping trip and he thinks I should be spanked for it, although nothing bad happened.

there's this girl i love with all my heart and i finally got the balls to ask her out and for about a half an hour it seemed like i won her heart and i was the happiest i've been in so long then she said something about how she didn't wanna ruin our friendship and that killed me. then like 4 days later she went out with this other guy who was her friend also. it just shattered my all ready broken heart into dust and it's werid i often turn my my radio up so loud that no one can hear me crying i get so mad i just feel so alone and hopeless like theres no reason to go on i feel so back stabbed.

I have this guy friend, we'd talk and flirt and every1 thought we were a couple, we'd txt all the time when we weren't 2gether & when my phone broke, I got 8 messages from his alone on the 1st day! Anyway, I like him and I told him so (over texting, I know, mistake) & he gave me an obscure answer which I asked him to explain (again, mistake) & he pretty much rejected me w.out flat out saying so. Well, now whenever I txt him, he just won't answer me! 1st, when I was bored and decided 2 4get about the whole thing I txted "wuts ^?" and he never answered, later I txted a specific question "Wut elementary school did u go 2?" bcuz i met some new kids who i thought might know him and again he never answered, which is weird bcuz he always answers specific questions. things between me and this guy ended really badly. we both said hurtful things we cant take back. more him then me. it bothers me that it ended so bad. i even told him i hated him and to never contact me again. he told me he cheated on me. should i contact him and if so what do i say. i dont want to try to work things out, but it bothers me alot that it ended so badly. i loved him and unfortunatley still do. but the trust is gone. he hurt me alot. i dont know if i should just let it go. it takes alot out of me to have this much anger towards someone. advice please.

Hi,

My sisters would like to have a bridal shower for me (I know in some areas/ social circles, it is considered inappropriate for relatives to handle a bridal shower, but this is the norm where I live) before my fiance and I leave to get married in Hawaii. I know that usually only guests attending the wedding are invited to the shower, but that would be impossible in this situation since we are eloping. We are having a reception for family and friends after we return. I don't want to offend anyone, so what are your thoughts on being invited to such a shower, assuming you will be invited to the reception here.
