ok so im goin to the movies with one of my friends (shes a girl, im a guy, its kinda our thing) and i was wondering if i should get her a gift. you know something so she will remember me. we are goin to different colleges thats why this is the last time we will see each other for a while. we are JUST FRIENDS nothing more. i only say that cause we tried the "dating" thing and it didnt work out so we decided to just be friends. so should i get her something or not? if so what should i get her?
im a poor kid w/ not job, i know thats my own fault, so jewelry is a no go. i need other ideas.

Burn her a CD. It's a little obvious, but for a reason. It's inexpensive but personal, and she'll think of you every time she listens.

Give her a copy of a book she'd like, a book she does like, or a reference book for college, such as a thesaurus. It doesn't have to cost a lot. You can even get it at a used book store.
