WOMEN REJECT MEN ALL THE TIME WHO ARE ALL OF THOSE THINGS!! "Nice guys" offer them those things constantly . . . to the point of exhaustion, actually . . . . and a "nice guy" will wonder why she ran off to be with a guy who is NONE of those things.

YOU know it. I know it . . . and THEY know it.

So do not waste your time emphasining them. . . they dont mean a THING when it comes to ATTRACTION.

Looks is only good at first.
After the initial meeting I watch for matters and if he thinks women are smart. I also don't want to be around someone who likes to get drunk alot or smokes pot even a tiny bit. I can't stand the smell of cigarettes. I want to know if he treats his family right and if he will always treat my family right. I want to know that he's loyal and intelligent. (a college degree doesn't always mean someone is intelligent, it means they are educated, but I like this too) He needs to have a good job and be willing to share. If you can't share or are territorial, there is no way a relationship can ever form between me and whoever 'he/you' is. Oh, and one big disqualifier is a criminal history. I have grown up through hardships and not broken the law, I think that I deserve someone with the same integrity.

I think there are different things in men that different women are attracted to. While looks probably play the biggest part (and anyone who says looks don't count is just trying to sound good), it isn't the whole package. I would rather date a normal, decent, but not gorgeous guy, who is faithful to one person, has a great sense of humor and likes to do different things.

He made me laugh. He has a great sense of humor. That's what really attracted me to my husband fourteen years ago.

He's also extremely intelligent. He can speak on any topic. He's well-read, articulate, patient, loving, kind, funny, adorable, and very very good looking.

He always makes me smile. He complimented my eyes. No one ever did that before him. We always have tons of things to talk about. But we don't always need to speak. We can have conversations by just looking across the room.

The funniest part is he just walked into the room & wanted to know what I was answering & now he's making me laugh again.

A Sense of Humor- girls love funny guys, and someone who they can mess with who can laugh it off.
Confidence- Not arrogance, thats different, and not macho crap either, just not whining all the time, standing up straight and talking so people hear you is enough. :-)
Sensitivity- Not the crying kind, the kind where a girl can tell you her deepest fears and you can try to understand.
(For want of a better word) Manliness- Thats the best way to put it, I guess. Girls want to feel safe around the guys they're w/, like the guy will protect them from anything.

A guy who isnt afraid to show affection, has a sense of humor, and who is a grown up and doesn't act like a 2 year old when he doesn't get his way. A guy who notices the little things is really attractive to me too.

Not a woman, but here's what I've learned from experience from talking and dating them and looking at a bunch of personals.

Sense of humor

Confidence ie. good self-esteem

Someone with a good work ethic

Good hygiene. They don't have to be Adonis they should look like they care about their appearance at least.

Someone with similar interests (yes, this will vary from woman to woman)

Spontaneity, someone who can pleasantly surprise them



These are characteristics that I found are the most commonly desired. Of course, different women will have different things to add.

A sense of humour, by far is one of the most important traits for me. If you can make me laugh I will more than likely find you attractive. I must have a man that can laugh with me for hours on end.

if a guy has wears good cologne, that drives me crazy,

but in personality, id say, u have to be kind and honest, and open. Tell the truth dont lie or ever cheat on us, just as u can make our lives a living hell we can do the same to you...be URSELF, dont be something ur not! respect her and her wishes...just be considerate of her feelings...
