Well, good reason in my opinon would be, like, they're encouraging you to do things that are wrong, they betray you big time, they abuse your friendship, (like, they use you, dont respect you and expect you to take it cuz your "friends"), stuff like that. If you guys have a disagreement or something that's no reason to end a friendship, especially if you can work it out.

Are you looking for a reason to end a friendship with someone? That would by my assumption. If so, why don't you look at the reasons why you want to end the friendship with this person. What did they do that you don't want to be friends with them anymore?? When you answer that, then that will be your answer.

For other reasons, a friend can betray you, back stab you, many things a friend can do to push your limits and not make you want to be around them anymore.

Good reason to end a friendship: I liked a friend. A Lot. We became friends when my friend who was a few years older, thought he was hott, they dated for a few weeks but only casually and broke it off on good terms. She knew I liked him and was okay with that. Me and him were getting closer and closer when BAM. My friends little sister who was my age (who knew that I rly liked this guy) and also my friend, just not as much, shows up and totally throws herself at the guy I liked. He asks her out because he was so overwhelmed and she dated him for 6 MONTHS. The entire time, she talked bad about him, was a bitc.h to his face whenever they were together and talked about how much she hated him. He had low self esteem and wasnt able to break up with her, thinking that she was the best he could get. She dangled him in front of my face and even dared me to make out with him at a party then wouldnt talk to either of us for weeks because she said we 'betrayed her trust'.
There we go. I ditched her, and he got a girlfriend who is perfect for him. Mine and his friendship is ruined and we both moved on. And you have a perfect example of a reason to end a friendship.

If you learn that you and your friend do not share the same values you might want to end your friendship. For example, if you believe that telling the truth is an important value and your friend often lies about important or insignificant things, you might just not want to be friends with this person.

Another reason is if your friend betrays you.

When you have been betrayed. When you can no longer trust the person. When the person has proven over and over again that he / she is not a true friend. When the thought of not being friends with the person again gives you a sense of relief instead of sadness.

Doing you or your family member, including your child, mother, father ANYONE bodily harm or threats with a weapon. Intimate relationship with your spouse. Convicted sex offender. Selling drugs out of your living quarters. Your standards and beliefs are your real answers. It is what your boundries and morals are.
