If he were 22 and you were 20, and at any time thereafter, I'd say no problem. But there is a huge difference between 14 and 16. I know it seems like a few years is forever; but give yourself some time. You'll be glad you did.

it's just at that point, that guys and girls are looking for different things, He may soon go off to college, looking at life differently etc. I think he is a tad old for that sole reason. At your age, you should not really date guys that are older. You may be setting yourself up for a big heartache. Sure you think you are going through an emotional struggle now, but in the end trust me, its nothing compared to the heartbreak you may experience later.

No... just don't let him talk you into anything you don't want to do. You think they wont... but then they do... not a big deal... they just like to see how far they can push... but trust me... a good guy will go at your speed, no worries. Take a chance! Why not?

personally, I don't think that he is too old. But, being that he is more experienced that you he will probably convince you to having sex.
Just remember to always use protection, and never do anything that you don't want to do.
Maturity level has a lot to do with it.

Trust your heart, & yes you're both to young to make any major life decisions, this might be better discussed with an older sister or someone you trust.
