Ok I had an observation the other day for a position at a doctors office and it was between me and this other girl who got hired. Well they hired her in the end only because they said she had more medical experience what they call it b/c it was only a high school program that she went to and "observed" surgeries in he hospital. that is NOT experience!!!! i think it is BS! i had scrubs, she didnt. I was early, she was late! and they still picked her! also, she goes to a university for pre-med and they want to focus on school schedule AROUND work schedule. I dont think she will be able to do it b/c its like from 8-12 two days of the week and then 8-5pm the other 2 days. And in medical usually the only classes offered at a school are in 2's, meaning there aren't many hours of the day you can pick from so she wouldnt be able to take them. Im going to school part time for radiology and they did xrays there. Do you think that girl will end up quitting???? what do you think about this?

I think you're focusing on the other person too much. You can't possibly know everything about the other candidate, her life, her experience, her schooling. What matters is that they thought she was more qualified than you. Accept it and move on.

There is nothing you can do about their choice of an employee. Yes, life isn't fair. It is very possible the employer is going to find out all these things conflicting with the hours and figure out that she wasn't the girl for the job. Be patient and you may end up with the job.Don't let this get you down, keep looking. Good luck
