I recently confronted my girlfriends racist parents. Yes I am a mixed, and proud of it. Anyway It was the 4th of July and I had plans with my girlfriend. Her mom had messed up our plans and really pissed me off. So I marched up to her parents house hand in hand with may girlfriend and confronted her mom. I was very respectful!! I told her how I felt about her daughter and how much she means to me. All while she was yelling at me. At the end of this dillema, her mom agreed to meet me over dinner with my girlfriend and her father and mother and also me. I thought everything was good to go and I actually go through to her mother. She actually asid that she can see how much I love and care for her daughter. My girlfreind and I made plans to go out to the a theme park and she told her mother and she filpped out. Asked my girlfriend why is she going with me, and she shouldnt. Did she TOTALLY forget what she said to me? Its like we are back at square one again...What do I do?

It's 2007, and unfortunately people are still ignorant and stupid as history has shown us.....You made an effort to show them you care for their daughter....Their daughter wants to be your girlfriend. That is something my friend your going to have to deal with, stupidity by "so called" adults.....Unless you are a bum, won't work, don't have any future, they should feel lucky their daughter has met a decent guy in a world of LOSERS!!!!
So they'd be ok if he was totally white, but yet he could be abusive or neglectful?.....It just shows they are immature adults, with narrow minds......2007, and we as people still haven't come any further, shame isn't it......Life is way too short for "drama", "ignorance" and "bullcrap".....wouldn't you agree......

Thats not all too bad, Im married to a girl whose dad is a total nazi, not literally though. You just gotta deal with it. It all depends on how much you are willing to sacrifice in the relationship to make it work. If you can see yourself with this girl for a while then yea, abosolutely go for it, but if your feelings are not so strong and dont really see a future then let her go gently.

OMFG-I know how you feel my man did the same thing for me and next thing i know the is like they forgot about it, BS i hate it...but it obviouse that yuo guys have to continue goign out secretly becuz does parent arent going to change (mines havent and my man has confronted them several times) but if you love her jsut hold on you guys will see it trough.
