Well, if he/she has bank debts and he/she doesn't tell his bf/gf, then it's none of his/her problem. The bf/gf needs to deal with his/her problem. Seriously, if your boyfriend has debts, you should just let it be. There is no need for you to get involved. If you do, there could be trouble. There is probably a reason that he is not telling you. For example, he may become dependent on you to bail him out all the time or if you help him out, he may feel bad about himself. If he decides to tell you, the only thing you can do is give him advice and that's about it. Keep your money in your pocket/bank account. Oh and another thing, do not get a joint account AT ALL. Good luck.

For me I did the guy thing, at the time I had resources enough & paid off the highest interest debt first. The othe option is to contact one of those debt consolidation groups, they Really can help, but its a pain they will get into your bussiness because its what they do.

It's none of your business. The only time it becomes your business if you plan on getting married. Your b/f or g/f credit history and debts have absolutely nothing to do with you, and it does not affect you life in any way until, like I said, you plan on getting married because once that happens your b/f, g/f debt becomes your debt.

Unless you are married, or planning to get married, it is none of the partners business. I would suggest that this person start trying to take care of their debt, one bill at a time in preparation for the day when it will matter.

he might just be a very unbalanced person in life. If he is having trouble with bank debts and doesn't want you to know, what else is he hiding.

unless they're asking u to pay, you don't really have to do anything. you could help them out if they are desperate. but tell them to be careful and if they do it again, it's over.
