Is it just me, or are girls to attracted to the "bad boys" and thugs?
I'm a good student, and people always tell me that I'm really nice. I'm nice to girls, and I talk to them every now and then (just about normal stuff, how their day went, etc.). I just worry that I'm too, well, boring.
I've tried being the jerk (stupid, stupid, stupid!) with disastrous results.
How do I develop the confidence and charisma to get to know the ladies as people, take them out, etc,and not bore them to death?

I'm your age. I'm totally into nice guys like you. Keep looking; I can't be the only one out there. Don't change who you are, because someday some girl will REALLY appreciate that you didn't.

Sadly, if your a nice guy...there is not much you can do. The chances of finding a nice girl who is not lost into liking the bad thug boys is slim. Note that the girls will say they like nice guys, but won't give them the time of day....however if a guy on a Harley rolls up to them and pukes on their shoes and punches them in the face they will love him for life.
the only way to build confidence and charisma is to date. Though you should just date for fun....not that you'll have any choice, of course.
On the bright side, may girls 'feel sorry' for nice guys, so they will at least fake date you for a bit just to cheer you up.

Yes they do, girls will say they want a nice guy but they really don't. Women are attracted to the bad boy's because they think they can change them plus they like the excitement of being with them. That being said you just gotta keep at it. Learn to be funny and confident you have to learn it on you own. Experience is key here.

Being nice should mean being respectful not being boring or overly considerate. I think it comes with practice. You just have to talk to girls and act like you could care less if they like you back. That you are just trying to entertain yourself when you are around them. Ask them out and if they reject you (like saying they are busy) for some reason act like it is no big deal. Eventually you'll have some success.

I'm kind of in the same situation as you, except I'm a girl lol. Not all girls are attracted to the "bad boys"...just be yourself, be patient, and I'm sure you'll find a nice girl who will like and respect you.

You are on the right track. Make sure you respect them and treat them well, the girls your age will come to their senses!

My daughter (14) seems to love the bad boys, and criminal delinquent types of guys. I REALLY wish she did not though...!
