lately one of my emo guy friends told me that another emo guy friend of mine liked me and was gonna ask me out but another girl asked him out before he had the chance to ask me out. He said yes to her and now i think some thing is wrong with me :((( i have never had a boyfriend and stupid incidents like this one keep happening so that it prevents me from having one. AM I EVER GONNA HAVE ONE?

I just got hit with some crazy *** news. I have my best friend that I've known and played sports with for about six years now. We've been through a lot and helped each other out a lot through these past few years. And on the other side of the story I have my younger cousin who is pretty much like a sister to me. They just called me on a three-way to inform me that they're going out. I acted like I wasn't mad, even when they asked me if I was. I can't let this happen. My cousin wouldn't have even known my friend if it wasn't for me. But the crazy part is, it's kind of like a cycle, because I kinda like my friend's sister who's about the same age as my cousin, but my friend is way over-protective of his sister. I'm stuck in a deep rut, please help.

am thinking about going to a cocktail lounge i drove past last week but i am like just doing it to not feel like i am left out of the city scene. i am a homebody at heart but sometimes you just feel like you may be missing out on stuff. does anyone feel like this too ?

I am just wondering since my puerto rican friend thinks my selection of men is a bit racist?I grew up even though i am spanish mix my mom is from Costa Rican mixed with german/portugese/pinch of middle eastern blood and my dad is Spainard/french in an all white neighborhood.Everyone i grew up with was Jewish,Irish,or Italian for the most part.I have never dated a hispanic person or any race other than white.But i have no problem with other races i am friendly to everyone and after college have many friends from different backrounds.Am i racist for only ever dating white guys ?I am going to married next week to a guy who is scottish,german,and irish and to be honest have never thought about this ?

My boyfriend just gave me an engagement ring. It's absolutely beautiful & I love it. Then only thing is I know he paid quite a bit for it (too much then we can afford right now). We are trying to pay off our credit card debts ($$$), our cars, plus our every day expenses. Do I keep the ring or do I tell him we can't afford that much right now and get something less expensive??? Help!!!

My case manager doesn't want me with any friends, & the only good friend I had left, my case manager said if she caught my best friend at my house, she'd get my friend put in jail & get me put in a group home, just because my friend's boyfriend insulted me in my own house. But my friend dumped the guy just to stay my friend, & my case manager is still saying my friend is no good. I feel very down in the dumps. My friend is a very good friend, & she never did me wrong.

I take ballet and my mother is constantly telling me to lose weight. I am actually under the healthy BMI for my height, weight and age. But she still tells me to stop eating and go workout. I'm afraid she wont stop untill I'm just a pile of bones. Nothing I say to her delivers the message
"mom, I can't fit into a size small, its too big" her response to that was
"thats because we're in a fat people store." And we weren't...we were in a store that's sizes run small.

I never had until recently. I just sat at school and am friends with these two kids. Both of them are pretty well off. The girls family has 8 cars and she has all designers clothes and what not and the boy has a 800,000 dollar trust fund. I have less than a thoasand dollars in my bank account and I've had it since Iwas 11. My parents can only afford to put a hundred dollars in every few months.

I know what you're all going to say. " get a good job and get your money up and you can have anything you want'' but I want it now. I wish everything was handed down to me like those kids. I never felt like this until I mety that girl. It didn't help she kind of teased me about not having any money, wether she meant it in a mean way or not.

Have you ever felt like this before?

I have heard sociologists and biologists say that women are naturally attracted to men just like men are naturally attracted to women, and all guys are attractive to a certain percentage of girls unless there is something seriously wrong with them. So, men don't really need to do anything special or offer women material things to get them, they just need to act like men and attraction will happen naturally. Does anyone else think this is true?

My aunt has always had a troublesome life. (too much detail to go into on her) Over the last 2 years things have gotten steadily worse. My cousin (her son) died in August 2005 just 2.5 months after our highschool graduation. She's always been an alcoholic but she wouldnt let anyone help her. Sometime last year she got with this 20 year old (shes like 32ish). They lost the house she was living in and moved herself, her bf, & her two kids in with my mom. My mom is going through alot because of her disability. My aunt and her bf quit there jobs after moving in with my mom so my mom had to get a job overnight at a hotel. She works all night and was going to a business school during the day. Anway neither of them have jobs, they smoke alot of pot, they have wrecked my moms house, they cant/wont pay for anything, they just lay around all the time. I think my aunt is on drugs or addicted to painkillers. I want to know if anyone knows of a way to help her. Suggestions welcome if not rude!

okay i have a friend named heather. she has 2 brothers. one is 20 and the other is 18. i am currently dating the 18 year old. but my mom doesnt know about me and him yet...but i will tell her because she wants to start hanging out with his mom. well heather and her brother charles which is my boyfriend wants me to spend the night at their house.my mom says i cant because heather has brothers and that she wont let me spend the night at anybodys house if they have brothers. i really wanna sleepover there but what can i do to convince my mom in letting me??? help please!

So, I am pregnant and my exboyfriend is a complete jerk....he hasn't spoken to me in weeks because "he doesn't know how to handle alll of this???" Basically is is very immature...and I am old enough to face reality as well as his parents. His parents say they will be there for me and their grandchild....but what in the world kind of parents let their son get away this? They aren't holding him responsible???
