I just got hit with some crazy *** news. I have my best friend that I've known and played sports with for about six years now. We've been through a lot and helped each other out a lot through these past few years. And on the other side of the story I have my younger cousin who is pretty much like a sister to me. They just called me on a three-way to inform me that they're going out. I acted like I wasn't mad, even when they asked me if I was. I can't let this happen. My cousin wouldn't have even known my friend if it wasn't for me. But the crazy part is, it's kind of like a cycle, because I kinda like my friend's sister who's about the same age as my cousin, but my friend is way over-protective of his sister. I'm stuck in a deep rut, please help.

Shove your selfish indignity down your throat and be happy for your friend and your cousin. It is their relationship, not yours. You are just being jealeous both ways, and you should be proud and happy that they felt it was important to let you know about their plans, they could have just done it anyway and have no obligation to get your PERMISSION. And if you like his sister, tell him and tell him you are going to ask her out, don't ask his permission either. Just let him know what you are going to do. Don't make life so difficult, it just keeps moving forward anyway, and there is little you can do to impact other people's decisions and ideas.

Well, I agree ...that is some crazy*** news!
But...****it....if it's going down like that with everybody on the "expression train"....gone head and express yaself to ya boy...all he could do is say "hell naw" at least you know where u guys stand....and then you can go and express yaself to homechick(dudes sister)...and see how she feels about it all. Ya never know how these things can turn out...yall might jus become one big happy family!

is he the type of guy that will hurt your cousin in any way? If not let them have some fun, you will get over it

Why are you mad? Are you jealous? Are you scared of being left out? Is he bad for her? Is she bad for him. If your anger is just from selfishness, grow up but if you believe it will lead to an unhealthy relationship, sit them down one at a time and open up to them.
