I take ballet and my mother is constantly telling me to lose weight. I am actually under the healthy BMI for my height, weight and age. But she still tells me to stop eating and go workout. I'm afraid she wont stop untill I'm just a pile of bones. Nothing I say to her delivers the message
"mom, I can't fit into a size small, its too big" her response to that was
"thats because we're in a fat people store." And we weren't...we were in a store that's sizes run small.

ask your mother to take you to a doctor & have him/her explain the harm being to thin can cause on your growing body -- don't let her get to you, you seem to know you are healthy, just do your best to put your health first and not her warped frame of mind

First, you have to sit her down and be totally honest with her. tell her it hurts you when she tells you that you need to lose weight. show her that facts that ur BMI is perfectly healthy and that you eat healthy and obviously get exercise since ur in ballet. if this doesn't work, you might just have to live with her acting this way towards you. the only thing you can do is not listen to her. i know that sounds bad, but in this situation, it is for the best. she might just be doing this because of her own insecurities. is she overweight? dieting? was she overweight as a child? maybe she just doesn't want to see you go through what she had to as a child. u have to be firm with ur mom and not give in to her requests or let ur self esteem be lowered by her crazy talk and demands. it sounds like you have a good head on ur shoulders, so don't give up or give in. good luck and im srry you have to deal with this. i am recovering from my own experiece with anorexia and, trust me, its NOTHING u want to go through EVER!

You don't say how old you are but if you are schoolage you need to talk to a counselor or better yet talk to your ballet instructor , maybe he or she could speak with your mom. I guess as a last resort you could call child protective services if it is really bad, sounds like she doesn't care about anorexia or your life. If you're an adult, tell her no and shove her a couple times, take control of the situation.

Inform your mother of the dangers of being underweight. I suggest telling her to take you to a doctor, where the medical specialist can tell your mother not to worry. You need to eat healthy and show her the statistics. Maybe you can both start exercising healthily together.
Good luck!

Tell her that she needs to except and love you just the way you are and if she doesn't she is going to do damage to your relationship and you will get further and further apart if she doesn't stop. And also tell her that your not going to lose any more weight no matter what she says.
Hope this helped : )
good luck

Sounds like your mom has her own issues. I would have her go with you to your doctor and have the doctor explain what is healthy and what is not. Your mom needs a shrink. Stay strong and do what is right for you.

Usually, it's the mother who's worried about her child's health. In this case, you're the sensible one. Have her speak to your family doctor. Maybe she'll listen to him.

Tell mom she needs counseling. OR, you could scare the hell out of her by faking anorexia!
