If you know you suffer from depression, AND you know you're doing things that adversely effect your life because of this condition, then it would seem the obvious next step to me to get some counseling to help get your health back in line.

Okay , and when the bills come in , how do you feel? Does that make you feel ecstatic. Nope, I didn't think so ,more like guilty, and more depressed, but the good news is you know what your problem is, Now , resolve to stop feeding it and stop getting your family deeper in debt, I struggle with Bi-polar but I know that only I can fix it . Or cope with it. Now if you marriage and family and the well being of your family mean anything to you, then you have to work daily to fix it.

spending that money is mearly a temporary solution to what could be a permanent problem. you need to find out why your depressed and deal with it the right way. find a good doc. talk to your spouse and be happy.
