My case manager doesn't want me with any friends, & the only good friend I had left, my case manager said if she caught my best friend at my house, she'd get my friend put in jail & get me put in a group home, just because my friend's boyfriend insulted me in my own house. But my friend dumped the guy just to stay my friend, & my case manager is still saying my friend is no good. I feel very down in the dumps. My friend is a very good friend, & she never did me wrong.

Your Case Manager is a control freak. She cannot choose your friends. You are very intelligent and can take good care of yourself; she cannot get you PUT into a group home.
If I were you, I would tell my Case Manager only the minimum of information that I needed to. She doesn't need to know anything else.

The case manager has no legal course for having your best friend arrested. The only way she could have her arrested is if she did something wrong or if you had a restraining order on her. Other than that, you can see and talk to whomever you want when the case worker is not there. She can help you and guide you, but she is not your mother.

It's normal that you're depressed.
Just because she can't be your friend now doesn't mean that will be the case always. Case managers try to help you get to a goal. If your case manager feels your friend would hinder your progress then you should listen to her. It won't do either one of you good if she gets herself put in jail. Plus, if your case manager can, in fact put her in jail then you need to reconsider her as a friend.
No one gets put in jail because of something her boyfriend said. Focus on yourself, and when you don't have a case manager any more, you'll be able to continue your friendship, but only if it will help you better yourself.

Yea i think if i were in your situation and i had to dump my best friend for my job i would feel depressed. I think you need to talk to your manager about how you feel and tell him that you really don't want to give up your friends for your job. If you are higher up in the company and they can't do the job without you then i would tell him that you are going to quite if he dosent let you keep your friends.

No your not insane good friends are hard to come by. However a truly good friend won't get you in trouble either. There are plenty of people who claim to be your friend, this is where you need to learn from previous mistakes and choose the right type of friend.

You should not be depressed but you should tell your case maneger how much your friend means to you without getting mad and if she still doesnt say you can see her then let her know straight up your still going to talk to her anyways and that your not doing anything wrong with your friend so shecant put her in jail and that if she wants to punish you for being loyal to your friend then she can but your not going to do anything wrong because that would only help her satisfy her vendetta.
good luck dear

It is fine to feel depressed, but sometimes if people are not good for you to be around, you have to make the choice to let them go. Then once you get it together, you can help them to be a better person to be around
