Of course the answer to this question is yes I lied. I probably lied more than I should have and looking back I sometimes wonder what kind of idiot would do those things, its a wonder I'm still here and in one piece.
If you say that you didn't lie to your parents my first thought would be well we are from different generations, but teenagers are all the same just different time frames and different or more widespread dangers. And my second thought would be what an exceptional person you must be that there was no reason to lie to your parents or that you had very permissive parents. Well more power to you either way.

I'm afraid I did tell a few outright lies when I was a teen, especially when I went out and who I was with. But as you mature and become a parent yourself, you realise how dangerous it could have been for you if anything had gone wrong! They do say that if you act in haste, then you will repent in leisure. of course i lied to my parents when i was a teen, who doesn't when you want to go somewhere fun, cool with your friends you will do anything to get the **** out of the house! if you want chill back with a boyfriend or a really cute guy that you like you will definitely lie to them its fun you might get caught up but, then you'll laugh about it later its all part of life!
