I wrote a few posts about my cousin & how she deliberately didn't invite me to her wedding, but she invited every other sibling of mine. Apparently it was intentional, b/c our mutual grandmother told my dad that I wasn't invited, then went even further to instruct him to not tell me about the wedding at all. I hadn't done anything wrong to my cousin at all to deserve this. My dad & I agree that what my grandmother & cousin did was catty & wrong.

A few people suggested that I talk to either cousin or grandmother & express my hurt feelings & ask them if I did anything to offend them. I don't know my cousin's #, & I haven't talked to her in a while, so it's probably best if I ask my grandmother. Esp since she's the one that went behind my back & I suspect that she had a role in my not being invited. But how do I do this in a way that is strong/assertive & not impolite? How do I start off the convo? I'm not good at defending myself(that's why I often get stepped on like in this instance

He only wants to have sex twice a month. I would like to have it more often but have compromised and said 3 times a week would be fine. He thinks I have a problem (chemical imbalance) because I want it more. I think he has the problem. Twice a month is just unacceptable. He refuses to go to a doctor or ask the therapist about this(yes, we're in therapy). I feel rejected, unloved, un-cared for, unwanted, etc. This is killing our marriage. I can't go the next 30+ years without sex in our marriage. I am only 34 and want more in my life/our relationship. Why can't he see that this is important. He just wants to cuddle more. Give me a break. Please help!

If you go to an interview and your so nervous that it shows and you kinda stumble over your words but are really nice and keep a smile on your face and at the end of the interview initiate to shake the persons hand and tell them nice to meet you, thank you... does that kind of help you a little bit get hired in a way even though you were way too nervous?

my husband is a great person to talk to when I have a problem with anyone or anything other than him. He sits beside me listens, gives me great feed back and makes me feel great about the issue. But when I have an issue with him, it's horriable! He usually gets really mad, goes into defense mode, give me next to none for feedback, usually, yup,..so, or uh huh and ok. He also shows no emotion, I'm usually balling my eyes out by then, and he is stone cold just staring right through me, that's if he does look at me. Usually he will go to the other end of the room and show his back to me.If he gets really upset he just gets up and leaves. What do I do? I've read so many books on how to talk to someone about issues, like saying I feel, I need, being as straight to the point as possiable. But none of that seems to do anything. It's aweful because I can't even ask him to help out with the house with out him getting this way. What should I do next time I have an issue with him? Please help

It's not a matter of if you choose one, you can never see the other one. It's the more complicated and subtle situations. Who should you have more deep conversations with? Who should you trust with all your confidential information with? Who should you go to first when you're having problems? I'm asking this because my husband's answer to all those questions above would be his mother. And everytime I try to talk to him about this, he excuses his behaviour by saying that he's been living with his mother his whole life and we've been married for only 2.5 years so obviously he's closer to his mother and needs time to adjust (huh?), or worse, accuses me of trying to come between him and his mother. The only thing I have that he can't do with his mother is sex.

I may have posted this before, but story is, I was married for a few years, then she cheated and got knocked up by another man. She left me for him. He wound up beating her bloody and leaving her. She cried my ears off begging me to take her back, which I still will not do, but out of the goodness of my heart I let her stay in my house to get her act together, for 3 months. The whole time, she tried to rekindle that which is simply dead, and at the end, she left very spitefully. It's been a couple more months, and she's begun it all over again, trying to rekindle a love that's just dead. I applied for a restraining order but was denied. What can I do?

My so called ex g/f broke up with me several months back, she knows that I am so much in love with her but she keeps tossing me around like I am nothing. We have been together for years. I know she has a new b/f, but she keeps calling me once in a while and tells me that we are meant to be or how much she cares for me.

Yesterday she came to my apartment and did the same thing and I just can't say no and I get my hopes up like we are going to get back together. When she left, a note fell out of her pocket onto the grass and she didn't know about it. I picked it up once she left and it was home listings dated the same day with the b/f's name on it.

I am so confused and hurt and I am feeling very hopeless right now. Each time I feel that I am moving on she does this to me and every time she goes back to him. Please help me, am feeling really hopeless.

I wrote a few times on here about the cousin that purposely invited every sibling in my family except me to her wedding. I feel hurt & embarrassed, esp since I've never done anything wrong to her. A few people responded that I should get her a gift or card, send my congratulations to her, to prove that I'm the bigger person while also making her feel guilty for doing such an ****** move.

That might be a decent idea, but how would I send it to her when I don't know where she lives?? I could ask my aunt or our mutual grandmother, but I highly doubt they'd give it to me. My aunt is very catty, & had a long "cold war" w/ my mom in the past(my mom's dead now by the way). My grandmother is the one that told my dad that I was purposely not invited, & tried to convince my dad to keep the wedding secret from me simply so I wouldn't complain! I think them giving me her new address would be the LAST thing they'd do!

So now what? I guess sending a gift/card isn't a good idea yet? What is?

If a man experiences "it" a little too quick, but then he can quickly get back into action very quickly, is it o.k. in this case, or is it still bad because he made "it" happen too quickly. I'm talking about 2 minutes after "it" happened, going back into action after about 2 minutes. If he's doing foreplay during that moment of "down time" he should be o.k right ladies?

I've been married 14yrs and love my wife endlessly but I just learned she was cheating on me. I feel that I am partly to blame cause issues I have been dealing with. I pushed her away. She told it ended before I found out. I want to get over this hurdle and get back being a loving couple I forgave her and told her that we need to work on getting over it. Will I be able to trust her again. I want to. In fact I just sent her out to one of her friends so she could talk to her about it. I dont want her to be cooped up in the house. I want everything to stay as it was. We have always gave each other their space. Can it work.

She has been on vacation this week and we have talked for a half hour every day and texts, etc. I want to tell her I really like her and ask her out when she gets back. Ive known her two weeks (one week she was on vacation). She told me she "recently broke up with her bf" and I dont want to go too fast and I want make sure shes not using me.
Should I hang out with her more before telling her this?

I know if I didn't cheat I would have been divorsed a long time ago. I don't put it in her face and as far as I know she has no clue. To me it's better to get a little on the side when I get bored than to split my family up. I've been happily married for 10 years cause I cheat!!! I can see the ladies faces getting red now, sure glad no one has figured out how to slap through a computer yet.

First I thought it was the pregnancy, she had a very hard one, then I thought it was post partum depression, now that my son is 5 months I think that she just has a horrible attitude period. It seems like I can't do anything right and I'm tired of being the one apologizing, I work full time 12 hour shifts and take of everything financially I don't see why she has any complaints, I always help around the house and with the kids when I'm off, its like there is no romance and every time i try to talk she either ignores me or gets an attitude, we have only had sex in 5 months since my son was born and i feel like theres nothing left for me to be here except pay the bills, am I tripping out or is this how its supposed to be when you are 22 with 2 young kids or should I leave now to prevent digging myself a deeper hole later somebody help me!
