If its your party then she should respect that and just deal with it, that's what friends do. Even if they get mad at one another if they are a real friend they can get past something like this.

So don't invite people she doesn't like. A party planned by two people should be attended by people who are liked by both of the party planners. Saying sorry is just words. To mean it, you have to do what's right.

the important question is
"WHO'S PARTY IS IT??"
Only one person gets to approve the guest list, and if it's not HER party, she DOES NOT get to say ANYTHING. SHE is a GUEST, and she can "get along, or GIT ALONG down the road".

It's not healthy for you to give this much control in ANY relationship. it is YOUR party. If she really was a BFF she'd just avoid the people she doesn't like for YOU. She sounds absolutely controlling and selfish. I'd cut her off myself, at least until after the party. Let HER come back to YOU.

first of all, if this is your party only, she should try to cope with these people since you're the one in charge. however, if this is both of your's party, apologize to her, tell her that u understand that u should have considered whether or not she wanted these people and that u two should talk in order to find the people that u BOTH want to invite.

if she's acting this way is she really your best friend?

My bestfriend would say hi to them and then hang with the people there she liked not try to dictate to me who i can have at my party.
