i am married with 3 kids. two whom have been living with him. I recently brought them back to live with me. He is very abussive and has medical conditions. We have not taken any legal steps before this but. I have not left the state but i want to know if he can take any action against me. I intend to get a restraining order on him and file for a divorce.

My boyfriend and I were already living together before his two friends moved in with us at a new place. They are doing some kind of project together, so it's more convenient for them to do things and communicate this way (I guess).

I am VERY uncomfortable with strangers. I've always been trying to avoid the two friends since they moved in. There are times that they'd run into me, but I try my very best to not run into them. They are nice people. I'm just shy, I guess. I cannot stand being in the same room with them (living room)...not even for a second.

Another thing that bothers me is that the friends smoke, and I have minor asthma -- it's harder for me to breathe and I wheeze when I come in contact with smoke. That, however, isn't as bad as my personal discomfort.

I don't want to bring this up to anyone because I don't want to be a bother to anyone. His friends aren't bad people at all. They're just living a different lifestyle, a lifestyle that isn't compatible with mine.

I've been with my husband for 7 yrs and married for 3 yrs. I recently met another man that I clicked with immediately. I love both of them and don't know what to do. I don't want to hurt either one of them. I'm afraid my husband will be lost and not move on cuz we've been together since we were 14. The other man said he would wait as long as I needed him to and If i stayed with my husband he'd still be a great friend but I'm afraid that will hurt him too and be really hard. I could really use some great advise.

I am married to a boy I have been seeing for about 8 years. About 5 years ago, we broke up for a few months and I dated another guy who I feel in love with. I swore from the second I met him, I would marry him. Well, we were young and things didn' t work out. I ended up back with my (now husband) during college and we ended up married.

However, I still think about the other guy. I still talk to him from time to time and I don't know what to do? Is it just that I have such fond memories that I don't want to let go, or is it that I am not in love with my husband? How do you know the difference?

My husband has recently (since last month) started talking to his ex-fiance. It bugs me because when we got together he never told me about her and planed on still marrying her tell I found out about her and left him. He then left her and called me(at the time he was at boot camp). He told her he wanted out and she tried everything to stay with him from the pregnate root and everything. He still choose to be with me. I have knowen him since I was in high school. He met his ex online on something called Vampierave. He only saw her once but they talked all the time online before I came in the picture. Well last month he wrote her saying "She is the only person who can understand him". How can he do this after 6 months of marriage. We have fights like everyone but this tops it off. I don't know what I should think. This women obvisouly means something to him right???

My parents wanted me to divorce my ex-husband because he was controlling, abusive and money-minded. They observed these issues and this came from information that I gave them.

I see other parents encouraging their children to stay together for the sake of their children.

I've been an aunt for a while & my nephew & neice just call me by my first name & as I get older I don't like it. Their other aunt has a nickname so I was trying to think of an interesting nickname they could call me instead of calling me "Aunt Courtney" Any ideas?

I feel bad when my parents comment about how others (my brother, or cousins) are happy in their life. They are married and busy with their families.

I do know that everyone has problems, but I see mine as worse than others.

I feel like I am the only one whose family lif did not work out and could not give the best to my daughter. She is 15 and lives in another state.

She does not want to talk to me or see me this summer. She is supposed to visit me this summer per the Visitation guidelines.

I see everyone else as happy and me as a miserable failure in life that people have to have pity toward.

He and I are very attracted to each other. He doesn't approach me about relationships though. He expressed to me yesterday that he does get intimidated by beautiful and powerful women. I don't understand why. He has a new girlfriend (young, no car, but she works). I don't understand why he needs a more dependent woman rather than a successful woman. This girl is sad because she is being forced to wed a guy she doesn't even know. She's nice and lives with her parents, and is afraid to speak out against them. She had repeatedly said no to the engagement and will continue to do so, but is sadden by the fact that her parents is nagging her about why she wont marry the guy. Of course her parents is doing this for money purposes since the are not americans and have a different cultural tradition. Wouldn't you say this is wrong but she has no other option but to move out ans she knows this. She will not move out because she has no job and loves her parents too much, but she had said she will continue refusing the engagement. I know deep inside she just wants to leave and go elsewhere but she's too weak to even try. so what can I do to cheer her up? I think she is really sad and depressed.

...so mad that you will be saying things just to make him/her mad at you too, is it considered as "putting words to your mouth"? And if so, it is considered legit? Or be considered as true or real statements? Can it be used against you? What if you were just saying those things just to really hurt, insult and make him/her more mad than you. You know, just to get even, so as both of you will be hurt. He/she hurt you badly that you hurt him/her back, stuff like that! Marvelous ideas and honest opinions are highly appreciated. I'm 22, she's 20. We're in "love". She tells me she wants to live with me and eventually get married together. I love everything about her. But there's 2 things about her that makes me worry about moving in with her and/or marry her. 1) She still keeps about 15-20 pictures of her ex of 2 years (serious relationship) who she broke up 2 years ago. She leaves me for a coworker after a long marriage. Only saying that she is not happy and wants a new life. When we talk she is nice but when her new lover comes into the room she acts upset with me and then when she hangs up she acts like she is trying to kill me with kindness like " OK have a great day!" this is hypathetical... and somewhat literal, but...

If you happened to meet the man of your dreams (a really sexy/built body, mind and spirit and very successful) but he was very strict in his religious beliefs in that he would wait until marriage (with no previous marriages... so he's most likely a virgin) before havin sex... would u be able to do it? Take into consideration this guy wouldn't just jump into a marriage either so it would take time to build up a relationship.

But ya, would u be able to resist a "perfect guy"?

My freind wanted to go back to New Delhi after living here for very very long time. She is married and her husband is also in general labor job. Both are middle aged and not very educated but working in ny and have medical coverage. If they go back to Delhi what are the expenses they will go through? How much they need monthly to live there? They have own house in Delhi also. What about Medical. Here they are paying co- payment for each doctor visit. I don't have idea about this so I am asking for your help? Any idea about retirement etc. Any idea you know how to settledown a person in delhi and much they need etc. etc.

so here is what happened... my grandpa married my grandmother.... she is my blood grand mother and he is her second husband.. he was married before and had 7 kids... the never call unless they need money. so today on father's day one of his kids who is like 45 y/o leaves a happy fathers comment on myspace and wanted me to tell him for her... so i wrote a comment back to her mother( who's myspace she used to write me)
