My boyfriend bought me a promise ring for our anniversary. Its really beautiful but I don't know if I should wear it on a certain finger or not. This sounds like a pretty stupid question but which finger do you think is appropriate to wear it on?

Some people believe if you wear a promise ring on your wedding finger you will never get married. I've always worn promise rings on any finger except my wedding ring finger.

This is kinda scary, I realize you've been together a little over a year, but if you have to ask 'which finger'...I question your maturity to be in a relationship. Promise ring = engagement ring = wedding ring...same finger...fourth finger left hand. Please 'save' yourself, so we don't have to explain the baby doesn't go out with the bath water. I wish you both years and years of happiness!

Put it on your ring finger. A promise ring is one step before engagement ring, which is before wedding. So it is appropriate to wear it on your ring finger, and it shows the regard in which you hold it. Con grad!

Well if its a promise ring to you it goes on the ring finger. If you dont want to be promised to him give it back.

lol, i don't think there is a specific finger to put it on, at least not that I know of. Just put it on your ring finger like you would any other ring.

which ever it fits on, try ring finger first, then pinky, then middle finger, dont put it one your pointer finger unless that is the only finger it fits on, good luck :)
