failing school and getting into trouble. need info on state funded schools or academys who help troubled teens. he hates everyone and everything. takes no responsibilities for his actions. he blames everyone else. hes been caught steeling and lying. grounding does no good. we are a very worried family and need help to get him on the right track to life. weve told him were going to send him to military school to straighten him out, but he doesnt care. he now wants to go so he can get away from us. he thinks it will be great to get away from us. some schools or academys ive looked into are expensive. 40,oooo dollars. thats why im looking for federally or state funded places for troubled teens. thanks for your help

OK so I've been working with this girl for about a week or so and I kinda like her and she seems to sweat me a bit, idk, I think i'm getting mixed signals, I'm not so sure. Plus she just got out of a six year relationship with someone. She had a baby with him too. Idk how long ago she broke up with him, but it must've been at least over a month or 2 ago. So then I asked her what are you doing this weekend? (It took a sec or 2 for her to answer and she said so far nothing, everything is the last min.) And then I said, well we should do something then, and then she said, "Maybe". I just want to know how she feels about me, I just want an answer, it pisses me off so much, I've been rejected so many times and I'm sick of it.

I really like this woman alot, we work for the same company and have been talking for like 6 months now. I am willing to take a risk and meet finally even if i means I get hurt and things don't work out. She on the otherhand is more stand-offish because she has been hurt in her past and she's older and doesn't feel she has as much time and she's risking more.

I can agree with her, but we are both head over heals for each other..

What do I do, what can I say, how should I act to make her feel more at ease and assured that age doesn't mean anything to me and who cares what is normal in society???

I'm crazy about my new friend, I can't stop thinking about her. Here's the thing, I THINK she's feeling the same way towards me: she smiles at me, makes eye contact, talks to me the most out of everybody (out of the class), and always walks with me to her car so we could talk. The only thing is she's kinda shy, so I can't really read if she likes me that well, or if she's being friendly. What do yall think, and how would I make the first move?

He and I dated for a year and a half and then I dumped cuz it wasn't workin out since I moved to a new town. And after that I really regreted doin that. He started goin out wit my best friend Beth and it made me kinda mad @ her. He dumped her and then asked me out and of course I said yes. Then a day lata he dumped me and went out wit Beth again. Then just yesterday he told me he like me when I was over @ his house and after I left he asked me out over the computer. I said yes again. And now this morning he dumped me again and hes goin out wit Beth...again. I try 2 get over him but, it's so hard! I go back over there 2 see his sis on Sat. what if he starts likin me agian and asks me out. I'm afraid to get hurt if I say yes. two weeks or so ago, a friend told me that he liked him, but I turn him down... I known him for years

Are guys intimidated/turned off/unattracted by women who are independent, strong, level-headed...and women who do not ever want kids...who do not want to ever marry...who don't want to join bank accounts or anything for that matter?

I mean, why are guys offended when I tell them that 1) i don't plan on ever having kids 2) i don't ever want to marry, but am willing to 'commit' in a long-term relationship 3) don't want to join bank accounts, lease, or anything legal/monetary 4) if u can't handle that, leave now....i mean--it's called honesty, which in my opinion is the best policy

Are there any women out there who see my point of view? I just don't want the typical dream of marriage w/ kids, big house w/ white picket fence...and a golden retriever...sorry, no offense to those who have...but, are there guys out there who actually have mutual perspectives and lifestyles?

We just moved into this neighborhood a month ago. Just this past week our daughters made friends with these kids down the street. Thats all fine and dandy, but the one little girl, she just won't go away. She is only 4 years old and her brother is 6 and they just run up and down the street all day long. Both of my daughters weren't feeling well yesterday so I made them stay in. This little girl, I promise was down here at least 20 times asking if they could play. Each time telling her, no, they are sick, you can come back tomorrow. Eventually the mom comes down to see if they can play and I tell the mom the same thing. Well the girl comes down 3 more times. Today they were down here almost all day long, I tell her she needs to go home for about an hour so they can eat, and she is back every 15 minutes to see if they can play. It is really getting on my nerves bad, summer is just starting and I don't want these kids down here everyday. How do I tell the mom they cant be here everyday?

Should I be worried that I am 14 and have never had a boyfriend before but I don't really want one?? Should I be worried that I might not get a bf in high school because I live in a small town? When did you first start dating and when did you get your first bf or gf?

I have another question: Is it weird that I feel VERY embarassed if I say "he is hott" in front of my parents? My other friends have no problem sharing their feelings about guys to their parents but I can't. My girlfriend has the habit of constantly describing things in terms of chickens. For example, she often refers to my, "drum sticks," instead of my legs, and she makes many comments about, "dark meat" and, "light meat." Of course, she uses the words, "thigh" and, "breast," a lot too, but I'm not sure if that is chicken-related since they're such common words. Also, whenever we walk or drive past a KFC, she salutes, "Colonel Sanders." What is going on here?

My boyfriend need punishment. He doesn't do what he says he's gonna do and it seems that he puts everything and everybody befor me. I'm sick of him but I don't want to leave of cheat just yet. He needs to learn a lesson. Ladies, what should I do?

Ok, so I've been seeing him for a few weeks now and we're pretty close and there's definitely a connection... buuut.. his old friends, who I knew before him, used to pronounce my name slightly wrong. I didn't care before, and I got used to it, but now he is doing it too, and telling his family my name like THAT instead of how it's supposed to be pronounced.

My question is how do I stop the madness?!?! I guess I could just tell him that I prefer it the other way? It's just so awkward!

I'm not sure if this is just me being over sensitive or my family are just jerks or what, but I'm not sure, so I'll ask you guys.

Ok, so my family totally ignores me unless they're screaming at me to do my homework, get to bed, or, their favorite "CLEAN UP YOU MESS!" My brother and I get in fights where HE starts it, and after I hit him and he hits me back, my mother punches me too! They ignore me, they don't care that I've got a horrible hacking cough, and they haven't shown me any sort of affection since....I can't even remember. I'm getting fed up.

So, what would you say this is? Them just being jerks, me being over sensitive, or what?

I have recently been diagnosed as having depression. I've been with my partner for three years and are scheduled to get married soon. Since my depression started I have been feeling differently towards her. I know she is for me and everyone tells me how lucky I'am. She is fantastic and i cant understand why i feel like this. Is depression the cause?
