Why would you want a guy that doesn't want a girlfriend? Obviously he has made it clear...he's not interested in having a relationship. Perhaps he was very Hurt by another girl he dated..or is shy or just doesn't want any part of that in his life right now for whatever reason, (you don't know if his parents are divorced, or something happend in his life..but for whatever reason...it's not what he wants right now. Your best bet is to either persue a Friendship* , hang out , go to a movie, rollerskating , playing ball....whatever...and hope that perhaps once he trusts* again...something could develop between the two of you.....or walk away now and move on..find someone that does want a relationship right now* Tis up to you, but i wouldn't push the issue ...i would be happy to be his friend* you can't MAKE a guy want a girlfriend* It'll happen when he's ready* Best wishes*

Don't act like you are trying to be his girlfriend. Sometimes your so focused on something you over-do it and things go wrong. If you spend time around him and be freinds and he still doesn't want to have a girlfriend, then trying to make it happen isn't good for either of you.

its not that he doesnt want a girlfriend its that he doesnt want you. so leave this guy alone and find someone that will accept you for who you are. old men usaully dont care what you look like as long as you have a heart beat that could be a possible last resort.

It depends on the situation and who he is, but it's pretty much hopeless. 1) he could be gay. 2) If he said that to you, he probably doesn't like you enough to want to be with you, similar to what many women say. 3) Or he's a player, in which there's no hope and you don't want to be involved with him and his impending STDs
