liking means that you dont really know them.. but you would like to get to know them more so that maybe one day you can love them.. you love someone once you have a good relationship with that person.

I will say that most people say they love people when they are actually infatuated with them. Love is a funny thing. It isn't so much about just being attracted and enjoying their company. It is more of a verb. You love them when they are unlovable, when they aren't fun to be around, when they are grating on your last nerve. When you don't have to do anything or say anything or feel like you have to change yourself to please them and you know that they will never hurt you on purpose( but realize that they will hurt you and deeply at some point, and are willing to deal with that ). Today people get too muddled up in being "in love" and watching too many movies or reading too many books. ( which are never remotely close to a real loving relationship ) Love is picking up their socks for the 1,000th time and getting frustrated and thinking at the same time that if they were to die today, can I imagine having to live the rest of my life without having to pick these dang socks up off the floor again and smiling and hollering "you left your socks on the floor again!" Everything else is like or infatuation.

Liking is a premature love. When like matures it becomes love. The most difficult thing to do is what would be the process to take to make like matures to love. If you like a person you're enjoying her/his company in a short period of time but if you love a person you enjoy, value, appreciate, treasure and relish each other for a longest period of time (forever is not enough if you love someone). See the difference.

Love is like if you are trying to forget about somebody and you can't or you won't stop thinkin about them and always talkin about them.

People you like are the people who you can have fun with, but the people you love are the one that care about you, and make u feel you are being care about. They will try to make you feel more imporant to them then you are are to yourself.
