Does the bride pay for the husband's wedding band, so it's like an exchange? Or is the man supposed to pay for both?

i liked this guy, and he knew about it, but he would always try not to be around me. Like if I stood near him he would go somewhere else, or if i was walking by, he would try to avoid walking near me. if he doesn't like me, i could understand why he ignores me, but why would he take it this far?

Me and my boyfriend moved to america last yr, and got engaged, the wedding is next september.
A few yrs ago i fell out with my family over stupid stuff regarding my dad. we made up and are closer than ever, he still lives at home and we talk on the phone regularly, today i spoke to him about the wedding and he informed me that its just him, my step mom and my 2 brothers comingout for the wedding and none of my other family is coming, im so upset, my fiance has his whole family coming, maybe about 50 people and all i have is 4 coming from my family, and my bridal party,
Should i be upset that none of my relatives are coming out, im heart broken, this is supposed to be the happiest day of my life and i dont know if i will be happy because of my relatives. i dont know if i want to put off the wedding and go back home to get married or just have my wedding here and f*ck everyone else,
wat should i do...?

Okay I have 3 sisters, 12, 14 and 16
About a week ago my younger sister started trying to peek at me when I'm changing and showering (I'm sure it's normal curiousity.... curtainly hope I'm not the only one this has happened to before). I talked with her about how she should respect my privacy, she still does it... but my problem isn't my 12 year old sister.

It's my 16 year old sister who's only a few months older then me has started peeking at me, I think she's been doing it cause my little sister doing that bothered me. What should I do about my bratty older sister? (and peeking at her back to even the score doesn't work, she's a tomboy that tends to walk around "oh natural" since it's 90 degree days without AC here) How can I get her to stop messing with me?

Let me explain - my mom has always had the need to control every aspect of my life. How I should feel, what I should say, what the world sees of me. I am a married woman with 3 beautiful children that I adore. She is once again trying to sweep a situation under the carpet because she doesn't want a "smudge" on the family name. She has always been this way - but it is my time to heal and she is not respecting my wishes and needs. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

What advise do you have about this one. I really love both of them, but my coworker, I am really in love with. I am not totally satisfied in my marriage either.
But, my coworker and I are both married, and he has a child.
Should I stay with my husband, or be with the one that really makes me happy and feel loved and respected?

wow i was talking to my best guy friend late, see he called me at like 1 and we talked to 5 30. Um, he is acting like he likes me, but i am trying to avoid the subject, cause last time he did that, he almost ruined our friendship and i shunned him for four months. And when we were talking on the phone, he said, " i love you princess." And i didn't really do anything about it cause he was kinda out of it. But the night before we were up late on the phone and he said that i made a cute little grunting moaning noise. Its just so awkward cause he is my best friend and i can and do tell him everything. I don't know if i should just let it slide and forget about it, but i don't wanna ruin our friendship because he is so sweet and i love him so much (not in that kinda way). He is like the ultimate best friend and i don't want to screw that up again. If you have any advice our similar experiances, please answer!

I was wondering what guys think about a woman that they may have a "relationship" or "friendship" with. Do they look at her like she's cheap or a whore or like she doesnt deserve respect or is not respecting herself?

Or do they look at her as someone they have a relationship with that isnt stressful, that they feel comfortable with & free of drama, and they actually appreciate this person alot?

Is there anything wrong with having a relationship with a guy that involves sex because you have a strong sexual attraction to this person & you also like them alot but you dont really want anything serious & binding, like a "promise" or "marriage" down the road - or a commitment as if you were in a committed relationship? Does this have to mean that the guy has no respect for the woman & is just out to "have his cake & eat it too" or use the woman for sex only?

His ex wife offered to spend the nite with him after he got out of the hospital. Do you think that is ok too?
She is married. Do you think we should mention that little tid bit to her husband who works nites?
What do you think of that? Still think it is an innocent friendship which is healthy?
I really think its not appropriate in lite of the fact she is married to a really nice guy who has no idea what kind of shinnanigans she is up to.
I am a nurse and she knows it. Should I offer to spend the nite with her husband?

My ex and I were together for almost 4 years. I bought a house and he lived there with me and another roomie. In that time, he only paid rent three times in 1.5 years. He is 25 and only had to pay $400/ month to live there. The only time we go out is if I pay. He just takes and takes and the minute he had any money he bought something for himself. I didn't even nag him for the first year because I thought he was going through a rough time and I saw that this was a pattern. I am all about standing by my man and i did that for a long time. I love him but I didnt see a future with him since he is too lazy to even be able to take care of himself. I felt like his mother and that does not help the sex life. He moved out a few months before we broke up and now lives with his friend, my cousin, and pays him nothing to live their either. He said "I would rather take advantage of my friends then my girlfriend". I am so hurt. Should I have continued to support him?

I am getting married in August of this year, and we are having problems deciding what color the tuxes should be. My dress is diamond white, and the bridesmaid dresses are cream and bronze (alexia link below). We had originally picked out black tuxes, but yesterday when we put the black tuxes next to the bridesmaid dresses, they looked awful together! We opted for latte tuxes for the groom and groomsmen, and chocolate tuxes for the dads. Do you think these go well together? I am leary of brown tuxes because I have never seen them before for a wedding. And what color flowers should we go with now?

I'm trying to properly word my wedding invitations and I just can't seem to please everyone. I'm now argueing with both my fiance and mother over something I believe to be pretty trivial. My fiance hasn't spoken to his mother in over 10 years and obviously she is not going to be invited to the wedding (touchy subject). So, we didn't want to state in the invitations "along with their parents". My fiance just wanted it to say our names "request the honour of your presence". At the same time, my mother (and step-dad) is paying for a fairly large portion of the reception hall which includes the food. My father can't help as he's undergoing radiation and chemo treatments and he has no insurance. My mother wants parents names to be included on the invitations and has now offered to pay for half of them if we do so. So, that would include both my mother, step-dad, my dad, and my fiance's dad and step-mother. Help?

I'm a sexy woman and have no trouble finding a guy but I'm in love with my boyfriend of 3 years now and in that three years I can count on one hand how many times he's made me come. I can't stand it anymore especially when other guys hit on me all the time and I know I can get it. I don't want to leave my bf just because he doesn't make me come though I feel pretty bad that he doesn't even seem to care about my pleasure once he's fininshed which is entirely too quickly. I ask him all the time and he always says he's too tired or it hurts his tongue or he just doesn't like it. There's nothing wrong with me down there my old boyfriend used to do it constantly. Is it possible to make my boyfriend care about my pleasure too?

My step sister is getting married in a few months. I have to travel from CT to Chicago for her wedding and it's costing me about $800 for airline, hotel, and other travel expenses. Chicago tax is very high. Do I need to also give her a wedding gift if the cost of me just going to this wedding is so high? We are not very close, never have been. Only see eachother once or twice a year for a few hours other than that we don't talk. Oh and by the way, my kids can't go....it's a no kids wedding. But my other step sisters two kids are going...they're in the wedding. My husband is also not going, too expensive. So the above cost I mentioned is the cost for just me. Crazy..huh!

Please pray for little Evelyn. She was the only survivor when her mother killed her sisters and herself this week. Please pray for the mother and daughters as well. And please pray for all women who suffer from mental illness and their children. I can't help but wonder if this mother had any help or resources. The best we can do for Evelyn is to make psych help more readily available. I pray that the rest of her life is filled with love and joy.

At the age of 17-18, how would you feel if the person you truly, deeply love, the love of your life, accidentally gets you pregnant? He will always be there for you forever, no matter what.

1. Would you keep the child?

2. Would you feel like your life is ruined?

But I feel we really can't afford it right now (I look after the bills). We both work...so it's not like it's just his money (It's a car that he wants, not one we both decided on). He does need a different car, but I really don't think anyone needs a 45 thousand dollar car. IWe have finally reached a place in life where I feel we aren't scraping but, yet am so worried about whether we will be able to do the other things we want to do in life (move to an acreage, have kids, etc.) All he can see is car, and all I can see is bills, and once again living on a tight budget. How do I get him to see the light?

I was recently offered a job in Waterloo, IA from a former co-worker. The position is in managment, with is a step-up for me and will raise my income from $40K to $55K. This move will put my wife and I about 6 hours from our families. She will now have to look for a new position as well in the Waterloo area. We now have to sell our house and find a new one. We are also expecting our first baby in November. With all the things that need to be done, is taking this position worth it?
