my boyfriend is ina gang and that's really hurting our relationship. he never spends time wit me any more and he persuades me to join the gang all the time.. what shall i do?

I dont want to go into detail, but i know 100% that they do not have feelings for me, and i cannot blame them as i was a terror when i was a teenager, and put them trough some horrible times.

I know that i deserve nothing better, but their behaviour really upsets me...and all i want to know is how i deal with it.

And before anyone says anything, i have been told by 2 members of the family that i am correct in thinkiong that they dont love me.
How do i move on?

I havent had a girlfriend yet, ther ehave been times where i almost did but some guy steps in screws it all up. Yea and after looking in the mirror and stuff and not having a gf yet it makes me feel ugly. and i have a huge fear of being ugly especially hair loss :/

When I went to the university in the early 1980s, one fellow thought "Mike's a man and men don't like their wives working !" so he figured I wanted a housewife . At another point, he thought I'd insist on my wife staying home and being a housewife . In reality, any woman I marry has to work and bring home a paycheck . What's the point of a man insisting on his wife staying home and being a housewife ? If a man wants the chance to say "I make all the money, so I make all the decisions ?", isn't that kind of sexism old -- fashioned in this day and age ? If a man can't make enough money to finance his marriage, he shouldn't complain if his wife goes to work and helps him out . If a man refuses to let his wife work and make a paycheck, why should she stay married to him ?

I have been a step-mum for 7 years now, and I'm now a mum myself. recently I have been baffled & hurt by my eldest step-daughters (aged 10) behaviour. I spend every weekend with them (the other is 9) and have jointly had responsibility for them with my partner while they are in our care. One minute she says I am fun, she loves me, can she pretend I am their Mum... next she 'hates' me and refeuses to come around again. It's not personal, she says she hates her Dad when she is in this mood too. It might take 2 weeks for her to snap out of it.
It is tough being Mum to someone elses children, no matter what people say, it is impossible to give them unconditional love like you do your own children. I want to keep our relationship good for eveyones sake, theirs, their Dad's, my daughters... but I feel so frustrated as no-one knows why she is like this. She has known me since she was 3 and doesn't even remember her Mum & Dad living together, so I don't think it's traditional resentment.

My Gramma wants to maintain her freedom, and refuses to move where we can provide better care for her. Can’t afford to hire a helper for her, so I’m looking for an affordable way for her to remain indipendent and for her to not feel like a burden to the rest of the family. Any thoughts?

It's been almost a year & we have a fantastic relationship with the exception that he continues to let the ex wife get to him. His divorce is still fresh & I had nothing to do with it - in fact she's the one who cheated & she's still not happy with the house & everything - he took 3 items and is returning 1. Anyways - sometimes I just feel like I cannot put up with her interfering with his happiness anymore, but because he's going through so much, I will not and could not hold him respsonsible - I KNOW it's her - BUT - sometimes I wish he would just change his cell # and tell his kids (who are 28 &22) NOT to give it to her. There's no reason for her to able to get in touch with him. I feel so guilty for feeling as though I cannot take it anymore, I can just imagine what he's going through & I do all sorts of things to try and help him through it & he's appreciative - But I just cannot get past that I want it all to stop!

For the last two days, my husband has done a few things that have made me very upset to the point I wanted us to separate. Just last night I started talking to him and we worked things out. Now he texts me to ask if he can hang out with his friend that moved away and has not seen since Feb, next weekend since he will be coming though. I said yes, but I felt that we needed to spend time working our problems out. He said we have this weekend and all next week. We both work...I also wanted to take our daughter to the zoo next Saturday but he said if I do we should it early or his friend could come. I want it to be a family thing. Am I wrong, controlling, selfish, or stupid for even trying to make this work again? Someone please help, I feel so lost, lonely and we tried counseling but he believes they are out to get your money, that he can fix it all and he seems not listen to what they say he needs to do or improve. He seems to dwell on my imperfections & improvements.

For divorced guys, is true that most divorced don't want to consider getting married again especially if the divorce was a mess? We were at her party; me and my bf (he was the only boy there)
were together and everyone knew it.
they tried to get us to kiss and stuff.
i had to leave early because i had a thing i couldn't miss.
and i found out that anna(the person who threw the party, AKA my ex best friend)
wanted to kiss him and kissed him once i left the party.
and we were still going out!
they all tried to keep it a secret from me but at least one true friends their told me.
AND because of anna my bf broke up with me.
im so pissed and sad!!
it's the worst day of my life!!
i've fallen into a deep depression

My Grandpa just found out his cancer has come back. He is pretty weak to begin with and has to have dialysis 4 times a week. Therefore the doctors told him that there is nothing they can do to treat the cancer this time. He wrote an email to the family that he wasn't ready to go yet, and that it was pretty tough to take but "such is life in Him" Is there anything I can do to make his last months better? I usually see him once a month and we play cards, if I start visiting more will he think they are pity visits? I just want his last few months to be happy.
